Motuto's live tutors are available Monday to Friday from 7:30 A.M. until 11:00 P.M. Pacific time.
We also have tutors available to help on Sunday evenings from 5:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. Pacific time for those last minute cram sessions!
Do you need help with a homework question or assignment? Just download motuto, connect with a live tutor, and get the help you need while at your desk or on the go. It is as simple as that!
In-person tutoring is expensive and must be booked weeks in advance. With motuto, you can get tutoring from an accredited educator at a fraction of the cost, and you can get assistance within a few minutes. Don't get stuck with homework assignment due the next morning again!
This EASY-TO-USE mobile tutoring app connects you with a real live tutor, whom you can comfortably ask questions anonymously. Receive INSTANT EDUCATIONAL instruction on core concepts in your local curriculum from motuto tutors, who will quickly address your needs with INDIVIDUALIZED EXPLANATIONS and GUIDED PRACTICE to strengthen you skill set and enhance understanding of required classroom concepts.
How motuto works:
• Download the FREE motuto app here and create an account. After only a couple minutes, the app will remember your account for all future sessions.
• Pick the subject and topic you need help with. Our educators can help you across a wide variety of topics in both science and mathematics.
• You will be matched with an expert tutor based on the subject you choose.
• Tell the tutor about your problem. If you are on a device with a camera, you can take a picture of your homework question and send it to your tutor as a starting point.
• The tutor provides help via text chat and a shared whiteboard, as well as through lessons from our library that the tutor may prescribe.
• When the tutoring session ends, motuto will send you a summary of your session, including the whiteboard screenshots and chat logs so you can review them later.
• Your session will also be stored both on the device and in the cloud for you to review in the future.
Students in the US and Canada can use motuto for help in the subjects of Math and Science in Grades 3–12.
The motuto app is available as a free download, and your first 20-minute tutoring session is FREE. Additional sessions can be purchased in 20 minute increments for $4.99 as required in the application. Sessions longer than 20 minutes can be lengthened by an additional 20 minutes for only $1.99.
