Remap your buttons to apps or functions like for example:
* camera, brightness up/down, music control functions, browser (explorer), digital frame, music app etc. etc.

As for all root apps: a system backup with Rom Manager is adviced

NOTE: Nook Color users, this keyboard isn't entirely compatible with the Nook. The bottom row of the tablet keyboard layouts isn't displayed. This is *only* happening on the Nook Color. Needless to say that i'm looking into this and will provide a fix as soon as possible.

Launch a customizable shortcut menu, apps or system functions by pressing-and-holding the hardware search button.

Implemented system functions:
* Bluetooth, Wifi, Aiplane mode toggle
* Switch to home screen

Device needs to have a dedicated search key (for example not for Samsung Galaxy S). If you don't have a dedicated search key uses buttonremapper to remap a key to the search key.

Droid x/2 users: *first* install "homesmack" to unleash the long press search button on your device.

MyTouch 4G: Genius Button isn't a search button. Remap button first with ButtonRemapper to the search button

Remap long-press search to the home button.

Little utility created for the HTC Desire HD because I was developping a carpal tunnel syndrome by reaching with my thumb to the other side of the device to hit the home button.

Also very useful for other devices with large screens, like HTC Evo and the Droid x
