There is an optional countdown beep during the last 5 seconds of a session, and you can use continuous mode to repeat forever.

Encrypt messages with DES. Send the key and the message via separate channels, e.g. SMS Text for the key, email for the message.
When you receive a message, paste the key and encrypted text into the appropriate fields and press the decrypt button.
