Dew Point Quick Reference For Infrared Inspections

A very simple dew point reference table for anyone performing infra-red inspections/infrared thermography.

When performing inspections with a FLIR, Fluke or other infrared camera (or basic infrared thermometer) it is important for the thermographer to be aware of the current dew point but this data is not always readily available.  Simply get your ambient temp and humidity; you now have an accurate dew point for your imaging.

Anyone performing roof inspections has probably run across the need for the current dew point, now you can have it on your Android device any time you need.  No internet connection or typing is required.  With one click you have the quick reference chart without fumbling around trying to input the values with your keypad.

Infrared Wind Correction (v. 2.0)

A very simple wind correction chart for anyone performing Infrared Inspections/ Infra-red Thermography.  Any time inspections are performed outdoors it becomes very important to compensate for the cooling effect from air movement.  Whenever possible inspections should be carried out when there is no wind, but this isn't always practical.

With a simple cross-reference you can compensate for the cooling effects encountered.

Tree Stand Finder For Hunters (v. 1.0)

This is a simple App for all hunters enabling them to find their tree stand in the early hours before dawn.  Just about every hunter has gone off course in the pre-dawn woods. Not any more with this App.

Simply program your tree stand location and it will use your phone's GPS to guide you back with Google Maps.  Remember to calibrate your internal compass and you will be able to use real time visual and audible cues to guide you.

This is suitable for all hunters using a tree stand to hunt any time of game;

Deer
Moose
Elk
Bear
Etc.

This application relies on a GPS fix as well as Google Maps in order to function correctly.  Also ensure your phone is in silent mode when approaching your stand unless you want to clear the bush of all potential game!

Infrared Emissivity Table (v. 3.0)

A simple set of emissivity tables for anyone performing infra-red temperature measurements or Infrared Thermography.  A very handy tool for anyone with a FLIR, Fluke or other infrared camera/thermometer.  When you need to adjust with an emissivity value- simply open the quick launch app and look up the value.  No internet connection is required.  You can also search for a material by typing in the first letters of the material type- the app will begin filtering results immediately.

Your reports will be more accurate than ever when adjusted with the correct value.  Home, business, equipment, roof, mould and other inspections all need adjustment, but not all imagers have the correct value pre-installed.  

Virtually all infrared camera (and some infrared thermometers) allow for manual emissivity adjustment; simply input the number and continue with your inspection.

Take your inspections to a more professional level by compensating each and every one of your images.  Your customers will thank you.
