Check out QwarkWire beta, your venue for last-minute local posts.    Need a cab share to the airport?  A running partner?  Or just a heads up on what’s happening in the neighborhood?    QwarkWire is a new Android app that aims to solve your last minute needs, by making it simple to view and publish location-specific micro-posts.  

Adding a post just takes seconds.   Type in a brief description of what you need, where you need it,  and when --  you’re done!  You can delete your post or republish it at any time.  If you do nothing, the post will be deleted after 3 hours.  Other users can reply to your posts via QwarkWire mail,  so your e-mail and social networking IDs are kept private.    


See what’s near you at a glance.   QwarkWire contains more than personal posts from your neighbors.   It’s constantly refreshed with new posts pointing to local concerts,  films, street-fairs, and more.   All QwarkWire posts are location and time-specific,  with closest posts front and center.   You have the option of narrowing the display list, for example by selecting a category.  

There are no stale posts in QwarkWire.   You’ll find that most posts have been published in the last hour or two.    QwarkWire posts are deleted after 3 hours,  in most cases.   So you won‘t have to sift through hundreds of references to events that happen tomorrow, the day after, or next week.    Only posts that point to all-day events such as street fairs stay around longer.

Using Bathroom Scout you can easily find about worldwide 430.000 bathrooms and restrooms close to you! This includes public toilets as well as restrooms in restaurants and other facilities. Please consider that it might be necessary to use the service of a facility in order to access the bathroom and decide for yourself which bathroom is most convenient for you.

Find the nearest Tim Hortons with your Android and pick up a double-double or two! Avoid driving around searching for one.

This app uses your phone's GPS to locate the nearest Tim Hortons stores to your current position then displays them on a map or list. You can also search in a given city/neighbourhood, so you are not limited to your current location.
Wondering if a certain Tim Horton's store has a drive through? Open the store details page and see if it has it.
Distance, directions are also given for each store. Street View is also provided(When available) so you know how the area looks like before you drive there.
You can also write down orders from your friends/colleagues in the app itself so no need for an extra paper.

The app also works in offline mode when you don't have a data connection, so you can get your coffee fix even when you don't have reception :)

Note: Keep in mind that in offline mode, StreetView and Directions are not available. The map is also limited to whatever tiles cached on your phone.

There is a 105 different, more or less difficult mountain bike tours from Slovenia with exact description and map.
