Offline Map for android, vector map, totally offline maps, no internet connection. Key features: Zoom in/Zoom out/Pan. Search street by name and/or intersection with other streets. Search point by name, type, distance or mix type+name, type+distance. Search GPS location by latitude and longitude in decimal format. Partial name search. Can touch any object on the map. GPS real-time tracking. Routing point to point. Rotate map so the driving direction (heading) is always up. Voice guidance (turn left/turn right)

Basic User Guide

Touch and drag to move map, pinch to zoom in/out, tap on + button to zoom in, tap on - button to zoom out, tap on an object (street or point) to view its name, double tap or touch and hold (long press) on an object (street or point) to open context menu apply to that object.

There is an option to load routing nodes into memory. If you select this option, the application will calculate shortest/fastest route from point to point very fast.

You can install this application for free to see how the offline map application works on your phone. The map data included in this application is center area of Singapore map (not the whole map of Singapore because this is free version to demo the application functions only).

How to use turn by turn navigation:
You can use AutoRouting together with GPS tracking to have turn by turn navigation. To use turn by turn navigation, follow these steps:
1. Increase your phone volume so that you can hear voice guidance.
2. Open Setup menu and check "In Car Navigation When Tracking/Routing" and "Keep On Road When Tracking" options. If these options have been turn off then turn them on.
3. Define start waypoint and target waypoint, select AutoRouting to calculate fastest/shortest route. After the application starts to demo the route, you can tap anywhere on the map to stop the AutoRouting demostration. The application remembered your route.
4. Select GPS tracking menu and wait for the phone to fix GPS signal. It may take a few minutes to fix GPS signal depending on your phone GPS receiver.
5. Mount your phone on the phone handle in your car.
6. Drive along the fastest/shortest route, the application will guide you to go straight, turn left or turn right. Follow the turn by turn instructions you will reach the target waypoint.

Please use this function turn by turn navigation carefully, always look at the road ahead while you drive instead of looking at the small phone screen to have a safe drive.

Find Postboxes helps you locate nearby post boxes and post offices wherever you are in the world. It can also tell you the last collection times at many of these to help you catch the last post!

Search for postboxes and post offices around your current location, or look for a mailbox in another area via a simple place name or postcode / zipcode search. Pick the box you want and call up a route map directly to it from your current location. Distances can be displayed in metric or imperial units.

Not all areas feature complete coverage yet although most major (and many not so big) metropolitan areas have excellent coverage. We're adding more postbox locations to the database daily so the data will only ever improve, and even if we don't know about your absolute closest mailbox we'll normally have one nearby which might be good enough in many situations.

Are we missing boxes in your area? Add them straight from the app... Simply stand next to the postbox with your phone and press “update” to give us the coordinates, then “add” and you’re done! If you want, you can enter the postal operator and the last collection times (as written on the front of the post box), but those are not required for a basic submission. We’ll figure out the name of the street you’re on and e-mail you to confirm your data. We'll then feed your update back into our database and add the postbox to OpenStreetMap so that the data is made openly available.

Find Postboxes uses the built in GPS to get your current location. If your location cannot be determined automatically then you can always enter your post code to get started. Please note that an internet connection is required to get location and map data. New postbox entries are submitted to OpenStreetMap and all edits are submitted back to this project too.
