As a rare natural park within a city, Mt Bukhan was designated as the 15th National Park in Korea to preserve the beautiful natural and cultural heritage of the area and to offer pleasant services to visitors.

With an area of 79.789㎢, the park stretches over Seoul Metropolitan City and Gyeonggi Province. Mt Bukhan National Park is divided into two areas: centering on Wuyiryeong, Mt Bukhan area to the south and Mt Dobong area to the north.

The whole park is an ecologically isolated island surrounded by the city, and successfully performs as a ‘green lung’. Twenty million people from the capital and surrounding regions love to visit and rest here. With approximately six million visitors per year (2010), Mt Bukhan National Park is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most popular national park per unit area.

To protect the upper mountain areas where important natural resources are distributed, Mt Bukhan Dullegil serves to guide and disperse visitors to lower areas. To afford convenience to children, seniors and disabled people, Mt Bukhan National Park promotes itself with the goal ‘To create natural and comfortable trails where both history and culture and nature and humans coexist”.

Furthermore, to provide infrastructure to meet the needs of a wide variety of visitors, the national park office has installed smartphone applications for some sections of Dullegil.
Information will be updated to incorporate all the sections of Dullegil.

GPS over BlueTooth allows you to connect your mobile phone as an external GPS receiver that can transmit information about satellites and the current location, using Bleutooth, to  computer.
This will help you to work with such programs as: SasPlanet, Google Earth, OziExplorer, 2Gis and
other navigation applications.

Additionally, you can view a map of "satellites", which are used to determine the current position, and the signal strength from them.

At the moment, for transmission of information the application uses the data transfer protocol - NMEA 0183.

The application supports the following NMEA messages:
GPGGA - Global Positioning System Fix Data
GPGLL - Geographic position, latitude / longitude
GPGSA - GPS DOP and active satellites
GPGSV - Detailed satellite data
GPRMC - Recommended Minimum Specific GPS/TRANSIT Data
GPVTG - Track made good and ground speed
GPZDA - Date and Time

Speed Van Zones Ireland (v. 1.1)

The Speed Van Zones application uses the information provided on the Garda website to identify the areas where the GoSafe mobile Speed Camera Vans will be located around Ireland. It can be used simply to view the speed van zones on Google Maps and also to track the device’s location on the map. If warnings are enabled the application will warn the user when they come within a certain distance of one of the speed van zones. The application can be left open or it can be hidden leaving the TrackingService running in the background, which will warn the user when they approach a speed van zone.

Warnings take the form of a notification message which will appear in the the device’s notification bar and can be used to reopen the application if it is hidden. The device will vibrate, the default notification sound will play, and the LED (if one exists) will flash. The notification will disappear once the device is out of range of the speed van zone.

There is an additional function to search for a location and the map will display the speed van zones for that area which may be useful when planning a trip!

Internet access is required if you wish to view the maps, however this is not needed in order to receive speed van zone warnings. GPS is not essential but it is recommended for an accurate reading of the device location.

Certain application settings can be changed to the user’s preferences. Warnings may be turned on or off, and the frequency of GPS updates may be adjusted in order to preserve battery life. The default zoom level of the map can also be adjusted.

This application is free and contains no ads. It was developed for a college assignment so please leave feedback and comments about your experience using it, both good and bad.
