[2011-10-20] ET: Useful, but could be much better The postcode/address finder is the most useful part of this app. It works but could be better. I suggest: 1. Street name should be optional, like the version on the Post Office website. I assume this app uses the same database, so why is street name required? 2. You can't copy/paste addresses. 3. There should be options to share the found address with other apps, like messaging, email etc. 4. Clicking the map should launch the Google Maps app. |

[2011-09-09] Marcus: Pretty disappointing & clunky Here are the most blindingly obvious fails: 1) The entire top half of the screen is wasted 2) Can't search relative to current position, you have to know an address or postcode 3) Can't search for red postboxes at all?! (So install "Find Postboxes" app by "Elbatrop Ltd" instead) 4) Can't exit using the back button PS - Knowing what length the queue is (at modern post offices with touchscreen tickets) would be nice so that you don't have a wasted trip from the office / home but will probably never happen. |
