Due to a laptop which gets too hot and some challenges with new functionality, it takes some time before a new version is ready.

NB: If you experience crashes after installing a new version. Try to uninstall it before a new installation.

NB1: People that does not find Norgeskart in Android Markets should check that their content filter is not set to "Everyone". It must at least be set to "low maturity". Please inform those that have problems.

NB2: "Mulig nettverksfeil" might mean that the server of Statens kartverk is down. Try againg the next day.

Displays the following maps of Norway delivered by "Statens Kartverk":
-Topographic
-Topographic Raster
-Sea map

The maps are stored on the SD-card and can be used offline.
Now also with simple navigation towards a selected waypoint and import of gpx files from MyTracks.

I would be thankfull if more people would give a donation. So far about 50 of 35.000 have made a donation.

The directory, in which the map tiles are stored, has been changed to Android/data/haavards.wmsmap/. This has been done in order to have them automatically removed when the application is uninstalled (Android version >= 2.2). The old "norgeskart" directory is removed when the new version is started. A better name than haavards.wmsmap will be chosen in the future. The problem is that the application is then regarded as a new one by the Android Market.

If a commersial version should be released in the future, the following functionality might be removed from the free one:
-Permanent storage of waypoints.

-Integrated PayPal and Google Checkout donation

Outdoor Atlas is thought to be the companion for all your outdoor activities. It supports you offroad where classical street maps and navigation are of no help.

With the built-in GPS, Outdoor Atlas always shows you your actual position on detailed topographic maps together with appropriate coordinates. The maps are downloaded once on request and stored locally to be used when no GSM connection is available. Currently, following maps are provided:
