Pilots: What airspace is ahead? Are you breaching airspace?

For glider/sailplane, paraglider, hangglider, microlight and   GA pilots. This app shows your location with respect to airspace, what airspace you are in and the airspace directly ahead. AirCub currently provides airspace maps for the UK (mainland), Switzerland and Ireland, but other maps can be loaded for different countries by following the instructions in the wiki.

We would like to hear comments from aviators on how we can make it better. See the wiki.aircub.com to see how.

Use 'drag mode' in the setting menu to drag the map about and watch AirCub report the airspace.

Speedy is an advanced speed/distance meter. Speedy's main features are:

-Speed meter which also keeps track of your maximum speed
-Odometer. Odometer's reading can also be saved
-Three trip meters which can be controlled independently
-Distance meter which can be used to measure the shortest distance between two given points
-Acceleration meter which measures your current and maximum acceleration
-Supports both metric and imperial systems of measurement
-Speed alarm which can be configured to go off when the speed gets too high and/or too low
-Customizable user interface. Background image, text colour and meter read out sizes can be changed.

A paid version without advertising is also available. Search for Speedy Pro from the Android market.


Known issues:
GPS still may not start at all on some devices. If you experience this, try disabling and then re-enabling GPS from your device's settings while Speedy is running.

iqtaxi.se calculates and compares taxi rates for your trip!

The application iqtaxi.se will give you an estimated price of what it will cost you to take a taxi between two different addresses. Our database contains price information for every hour throughout the week from over 80 taxi companies in various cities in Sweden, both for the usual type of car and a van.

We calculate the price depending on what time you go, how long your taxi ride is and how long your trip is expected to take. Since the price is calculated it may differ slightly against the real price. Traffic jams, road works etc can affect the price.

This dynamic application warns drivers of redlight cameras on route.  The application lists all cameras within a 30 mile radius at any given point.  Approaching a camera within 1200 feet activates an alarm which warns users that a redlight camera is ahead.  The type of alarm can be selected by the user and includes LED, vibrate, ring tone or speech announcement stating the distance to the camera, or any combination of the above.  The notification bar also displays a red arrowhead pointing to the nearest camera, and states the distance.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!  PLEASE BE SURE TO TURN ON YOUR NETWORK AND GPS LOCATION.

Additional features include dynamically adding your own locations into the database by selecting an area on the map.

This version - NYC - lists all current redlight camera locations for the five boroughs - Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx.  Nassau and Suffolk county will be included in a different version of the application called - Redlight Camera Ez USA.

Outline
Using this application, only the smartphone put on the vehicle dashboard, road bump can be detected. It can use for road maintenance in usual time, and earthquake damege research after the disaster.

How to use?
1. The smartphone put on the vehicle dashboard on horizontally or vertically, don't put on diagonally. [attention!!] We are strongly

recommend you, the smartphone should fix on the dashboard for your safety.

2. Press [REC] button, then road bump detection will be started. The vehicle is driven as usual.

3. Road bump size is displayed on the screen. [attention!!] DON'T look at the screen, when you drive the vehicle for your safety!

4. When measurement is finished, press [REC] button.

5. For upload files, press [Upload and Share] button at the screen of right top side, and select file, then upload will be start. It

takes few moments.

6. Then the driving route, the bump location will be displayed on the Google Maps. Circle diameter is defined by road bump size.

data files as follows. When upload will be done, these files will be uploaded.
