Pilots: What airspace is ahead? Are you breaching airspace?
For glider/sailplane, paraglider, hangglider, microlight and GA pilots. This app shows your location with respect to airspace, what airspace you are in and the airspace directly ahead. AirCub currently provides airspace maps for the UK (mainland), Switzerland and Ireland, but other maps can be loaded for different countries by following the instructions in the wiki.
We would like to hear comments from aviators on how we can make it better. See the wiki.aircub.com to see how.
Use 'drag mode' in the setting menu to drag the map about and watch AirCub report the airspace.

[2011-05-03] Cloud Climber: Works ok on my two gingerbread devices and v3 too Previous comment: Cyanogen is non standard. Many android developers dont support these roms as they can be buggy. Aircub works great on my Gingerbread Samsung and HTC Desire. What I want is it to handle way points and provide the navigation function which I believe is coming in a future release. I get about 100 mins on my Desire so any battery improvements would be welcome. Keep it coming! |
