Der Positionsanzeiger der S-Bahn München stellt die aktuelle Position aller fahrenden S-Bahnen in München auf einer interaktiven Karte dar.

Die Visualisierung basiert auf zugnummerbezogenen Echtzeitdaten der S-Bahn München. Über einen Vergleich der fahrplanmäßigen Position der Züge mit der tatsächlichen Position wird die Verspätung errechnet. Die tatsächliche Position der Züge wird dabei an Signalstandorten an den Stationen erfasst und dazwischen hochgerechnet. Da die Signalstandorte teils mehrere Kilometer auseinander liegen, können die Daten Unschärfen enthalten. Eine GPS-Ortung ist bei der S-Bahn München projektiert, die dann in Zusammenhang mit einem  rechnergestützten Betriebsleitsystems die Datenqualität weiter erhöhen wird.  Dann sind auch Stammstreckensperrungen besser abbildbar, bei denen sich kurzfristig zahlreiche Zugnummern ändern und neue Fahrpläne gefahren werden.

Folgende Möglichkeiten stehen innerhalb der App zur Verfügung:

=> Darstellung der aktuellen Position der S-Bahnen auf interaktiver Karte

=> Darstellung der aktuellen Verspätung

=> Abfahrts- und Ankunftstafeln für Haltestellen mit Linie, Zugziel und Verspätungsinformationen

=> Suche nach Haltestellennamen

=> Einblenden/Ausblenden des Liniennetzes

=> Filterung der Darstellung auf bestimmte Linien

Radio Nav Aids is an aircraft radio navigation instrument simulator. A huge world wide database of DME's, VOR's and VORTAC's is built in. Both a VOR (VHF Omni-directional Range) and HSI (Horizontal Situation Indicator) can be simulated. Both also have a classic 7-segment simulated DME (Distance Measuring Equipment) displayed consisting of slant distance, groundspeed and ETA. The simulator utilises GPS and the device's magnetic compass to accurately display the VOR or HSI magnetic radial (corrected for the local magnetic variation).

The simulator is intended for training purposes only and must not be used for actual aircraft navigation. It is ideal for learning how the VOR and HSI work in convenient location other than an aircraft cockpit.

The trial version is limited to displaying the simulated radio navigation aid instrument for 45 seconds only before returning to the main selection screen. If your devices GPS has trouble locking within the 45 seconds limit then first get an initial GPS lock with Google Maps. Ads are also shown on the selection screen and the simulated radio navigation aid screen. The full version does not have ads or the timeout.

Text To Speech Speedometer.
Get spoken hints about speed and other infos without loosing attention to the driving environment.
I use my Android phone installed in my motor bike helmet. A blue-tooth headset is for sure a useful gadget with this app.
Also useful in cars due to the speed camera warnings.

IMPORTANT: The speed given by android GPS systems usually arrives suffering a delay of about 1 to 3 seconds.

IMPORTANT: POI (point of interest) lists are stored on SD card. All POI/radar/speed camera and logging related functionality depends on the presence of an SD card.

- radar/speed camera warnings (respects driving direction)
- radar/speed camera alarms if travelled speed is too high

To register fuel refill, tap on the fuel button in the main window. The fuel window opens. Adjust the fuel amount with the + and - buttons. Finally tap the register refill button.
Set the warning mileage on the same page to get a notification when to refill fuel.

Example of sattelite status announcement: sattelites 2 of 5 means:
- 2 sattelites with ephemeris data
- 5 sattelites visible
Ususally you get a GPS fix when you have at least 4 sattelites with ephemeris data.

Add POIs/radars as you pass by them with only 2 taps. Or use volume keys to add POI.

Supported formats for POI import:
- iGO8: files with extension .txt are interpreted as iGO8 format (like on http://poiplaza.com or http://speedcamerapoi.com)
- KML: example at http://maparadar.com -> exportar para GPS -> NDrive
- GPX: as imported/exported by the Locus app.

TTS-Speedo stores the POI lists in GPX format. After you added at least one POI you will see an example in /sdcard/Android/data/net.gmx.polasy.tts_speedo/files

Try to get database files including direction information (as on http://maparadar.com). This allows that the app only warns on radars in your driving direction.
Do not try to import other file formats, this might crash the app.

TIP: After downloading a radar data base file this usually is located in /sdcard/downloads, the following steps to import the POIs:
- app menu -> 'edit POIs' -> add category
- give the new category of points a name, for example radar.saopaulo
- menu -> 'import POIs'
- select the previously downloaded kml or gpx file

I recommend to use a filter to reduce the number of POIs, delete far away POIs. This speed up the app and saves battery:
- apply a filter for distances greater than 100 km (for example)
- then use the 'remove filtered POIs' menu option

Logging is stored in /sdcard/Android/data/net.gmx.polasy.tts_speedo/files/log

公車咖提供「台中市」公車即時資訊的查詢、紀錄以及我的站牌設定，首頁列出常用路線按鈕，可以方便迅速地查到站時刻，同時提供站牌每個停靠站名的離線查詢功能。

如「公車咖」使用上出現問題希望獲得修正，請提供手機型號以及發生問題的公車路線站牌等資訊電郵討論。留言在 android market 並無法回覆討論解決問題。

台中縣市合併有許多公車改號改線如有延遲更新還請告知。公車即時資訊由市政府建置供公眾使用，資訊如有異常請與交通局聯絡。

台中市政府建置的公車即時資訊網站可利用手機上網瀏覽，可惜每次要點選常去的路線總是不便，字體小不易點選中路線，雖可用瀏覽器我的最愛功能來紀錄該網頁，遇到偶而要查的路線加來加去總是不方便，於是設計了這個紀錄瀏覽路線小工具。

我的站牌功能提供自訂我的電子站牌「我的站牌」，類似台中市新式的電子站牌，可以自定公車停靠站牌，即使不同停靠點也可以集合成一個站牌，點選一次可以更新多條路線的即時資訊，舉例來說逢甲大學往東海大學有28/68可以通行，但是28/68的逢甲大學站牌卻在不同路上，站牌地點並不相同，出發時一次查28/68的時間就可以決定去哪裡等。

「我的站牌」的應用主要用在減少轉乘時間，舉例在中港路科博館站上了83/88欲前往逢甲夜市，這時轉搭公車有兩種選擇，一是新光三越下車轉5/33，一是朝馬下車走到黎明路轉 28/54/79，只要車上查這兩組虛擬站牌，就可以看出那裡下車最快到逢甲，避免等很多班距間隔長的公車。(附註：這裡舉例沒提到6268是因為全航這路公車無法查即時車況)

With this application, you can easily buy SMS tickets for public transport in selected Slovak cities. Currently, you can buy SMS tickets for Bratislava, Kosice and Zilina.

The process is simple and straightforward. Select the city, select the ticket and send out SMS. Within 2 minutes you will receive valid SMS ticket and you can enter public transport vehicle.

The application will notify you before ticket expires. You can then extend the validity of ticket by sending out another SMS.

Please, do not enter public transport vehicles without valid  SMS ticket. Wait till you receive it and then enter.
