Converting Units for Construction:
Contains the most commonly used construction units (English and metric) including:
length, area, volume, density, mass, pressure, speed, acceleration, energy and power
& a decimal feet to feet & inches converter.

Contains tables of helpful information:
Common densities of aluminum, brick, concrete, fresh snow, etc
Energy of common fuels like gasoline, ethanol, propane, natural gas, coal and wood;
Rules of thumb for power including hints like one ton of air conditioning equals 12,000 Btu/hour, a person in a room adds about 250 Btu/hour and a Ford Pinto is 88 HP and uses 2 gallons of gas an hour.

Simple GPS toggle widget(1x1).

IMPORTANT: widget may not work on some android versions, since GPS api is closed. If you use your device for navigation, make sure you can see gps icon in notifications while you use your navigation app. You can doable check if GPS is ON by clicking on widget label, it will bring android gps settings screen.

Allows you On/Off your GPS state with only 1 click instead of 4.

To add widget press: Home->Menu->Add->Widgets->GPS OnOff

HINT: tap on widget label will take you to system settings.

Look for our AppControl application manager and ProcessManager.

Talking Alarm for Android 1.6
This app is also available with Android 2.2 and if you can see that in market you should use that one instead.

Note: The Talking Alarm uses Media Player, so media volume needs to be audible enough.(You can do this by going to youtube or play a song and then increase the media volume)

Talking Alarm has 3 apps built in
1. Alarm
2. Location and Time based Ringer Settings.
3. Random Wallpaper from Internet
(you can always disable the Settings and Random Wallpaper apps by clicking on the button Stop Service)

The Talking Alarm speaks the current time until you snooze or dismiss the alarm.

You can also set it to talk today's day Date and Weather.

Time is spoken along with the Alarm. You can choose to turn off the Alarm ringtone when you set your alarm by selecting the Ringtone as "Silent"

You can add your own phrase you would like to hear along with the time. just enter the phrase in the label of the alarm.

To hear Weather conditions, create a separate alarm and label your alarm as "weather".

The Location and Time and Time based Settings.

Never get a loud call when you are in office or at church or movies and do not miss a call when you are back home because you forgot to turn the ringer back up loud.

The Location and Time based Ringer Settings part come with 4 predefined modes/profiles and you can add as many more you like.

Define the time range or/and set the location for a mode and set the ring tone for that mode, set the ringer volume, the vibrate option and the notification ringtone for text messages and mails.

The location tracking is done using GPS or Wireless Network. You can define your own distance/range for each of them. If GPS is enabled then location will be tracked using GPS and if GPS is not available then location will be tracked using Wireless Network.

As GPS is fairly accurate you can set your distance/range to be lower about 100-500 mtrs and location tracking based on wireless network is coarse so you can set that value higher 500-1000 mtrs. you can see the current distance in meters on the Modes list.

You can get to the Location and Time based Settings by clicking on the media button on the bottom strip of buttons.

If you choose not to use the Location and Time based settings simple go to list of Modes/Profiles and disable or delete all the profiles/modes.

RANDOM WALLPAPER FROM PANORAMIO
Automatically sets wallpaper on your phone using random images from panoramio.

Lets you choose the interval for downloading and changing the wallpaper

If you don't like the current downloaded image there is an option to instantly change the wallpaper.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Images are downloaded from internet so if you set to change the wallpaper frequently then the app will consume a lot of data plan.
