GPS OnOff (v. 2.1.0)

Simple GPS toggle widget(1x1).

IMPORTANT: widget may not work on some android versions, since GPS api is closed. If you use your device for navigation, make sure you can see gps icon in notifications while you use your navigation app. You can doable check if GPS is ON by clicking on widget label, it will bring android gps settings screen.

Allows you On/Off your GPS state with only 1 click instead of 4.

To add widget press: Home->Menu->Add->Widgets->GPS OnOff

HINT: tap on widget label will take you to system settings.

Look for our AppControl application manager and ProcessManager.

Doesnct work 2013-08-03 Droid Bionic ICS. Doesn't work-nothing happens when I tap the widget. Occasionally it will show on/off, but if I check settings nothings changed. Really need an app that can toggle all location sources according to specified config (GPS, Google, Verizon). Never worked on my OG Droid eitherm oh well.

Spoke to couple of other developers who've said this toggle is no longer available on latest Android versions. So don't be fooled by this scam..been told its an illegal hack & security violation

OK, so I found out... ...that it does not work on my LG Optimus Extreme (L40G). Now can anyone tell me how to delete the widget itself? In light of the above, the one star I gave it is not really fair. Google Play needs to add an "N/A" rating.

Droid BIONIC fail Installed to my Droid Bionic running Verizon Android 4.0.4. Didn't turn on the GPS even though the icon changed from showing it as "off" to showing it as "on". Tapping it when it said GPS was "on" just brought up the standard Location Services screen (confirming GPS was off) instead of just switching to "off". Probably a handy widget though if it works on your phone.

Incompatible with Motorola DROID4 Fails to respond to click or click slide. this is probably an incompatibility issue with the Motorola DROID4 GUI update which was recently rolled out. Let me know when incompatibility is fixed, I'll try this widget again.

Good design I like the look and feel, can't fault the developer as they said it may not work on all devices. Apparently RAZR is one of those devices.

Works sort of Works great on Gingerbread or earlier. Google broke compatibility with Ice Cream Sandwich. If you don't have ICS yet, I recommend it 100%.

I would give it a 5, but sensitive where you press the widget On my HTC ONE-X with OS ICS v4.0.4, this widget is finicky. I must press ONLY the lower 1/3rd of the widget icon in order for it to open the LOCATION setting, if I do not press it exactly correctly, it will make a clicking sound as though it is doing something, yet nothing happens.

Does not work :-( The app does not work. 1.It will toggle only once (only on widget display, the actual state of gps does not change) and then i have go back into the settings and enable/disable GPS. 2.Back on widget i press the button it changes state (again only displays that it has) I go back into settings and find nothing has happened. I am mostly using it as a shortcut to get to sys settings by touching the label (that is indeed a good feature by itself) SGS-2-I9100G. ICS 4.0.4
