Artificial Horizon Fun is an airplane gyroscope replica app, dedicated to aviation fans.

You can record a route in GPX format and load it to Google Earth or any other program that suport GPX file type.

Indicated Informations

  MSL - Mean Sea Level Altitude

  VSP - Vertical speed in feet/sec, feet/min, meter/sec or meter/min

  GSP - Ground speed in kn or in km/h

  TC  - True Course indicated in grads

  UTC  - universal time coordinated (GPS on)

  Lat & Lon  - Latitude and longitude 00°00'00,00'' (GPS on)

  To change the measurement units for Ground Speed, Vertical Speed and altitude use the settings section from the application menu.


The application requires the following permissions:

Simple WiFi Logger

SWiFiL for android is a utility for collecting signal strength data of WiFi access points and mapping them to GPS coordinates.
The application is able to log this data to both CSV and XML file formats, with the Pro version able to save data to database using the available API.

SWiFiL is currently available in three versions:
1. Demo - limited functionality / limited features
*Limited number of scan results
*Saving to database not enabled

2. Standard - unlimited functionality / limited features
*Saving to database not enabled

3. Pro unlimited functionality / unlimited features

The ultimate purpose of this application is to generate high-quality heatmap images for overlaying onto google maps through integration with the Chartis Delta Heat Mapping Suite for use in warchalking / wardriving and network administration. This is enabled through the combination of the Heat Mapping suite and the Pro version of SWiFiL.

This application is mostly used for mapping outdoor areas due to the requirement of GPS reception.

encrypt is a simple yet powerful file encryption application, and is available not only for Android devices but desktops and laptops too. By having a simple and intuitive interface it achieves a similar look and feel on any system, allowing the user to get right down to securing their data.

At its core it uses free libraries to provide a large collection of algorithms to choose from, many of which were finalists for the AES competition.

The following cryptographic algorithms are currently supported on both desktop and Android systems: AES (and other Rijndael variants up to 256 bits), Serpent (128, 192 and 256 bit variants), Blowfish (128 bit) and Twofish (128 and 256 bits), as well as (Triple) DES.

And the following one-way hash algorithms are common to all systems: TIGER, SHA1, the SHA2 variants (256, 384 and 512 bits), and MD5.

In an effort to make encrypt even more useful to even more people, it's been written to use the compatible encryption libraries by the GNU Project: libgcrypt and gnu-crypto. This allows many different algorithms to be chosen from on both Android devices and desktop systems.

The permissions requested are WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, obviously you need this if you want to encrypt/decrypt files stored on your SD-card; and READ_PHONE_STATE, which isn't as obvious, but comes down to supporting Cupcake devices :-)

Deze applicatie logt automatisch voor u in bij het netwerk van de Gentse internetprovider i4s. Installeer i4s AutoLogin en vul erna eenmalig uw logingegevens in. De applicatie zal vanaf dan telkens er verbinding wordt gemaakt met een i4s draadloos netwerk controleren of u reeds bent aangemeld. Indien niet wordt er voor u automatisch aangemeld.


Toekomstige opties:

* Automatische DNS wijziging bij het aanmelden. Dit zorgt voor een veel vlottere surfervaring wanneer men i4s gebruikt.
* De mogelijkheid om de verbinding regelmatig te controleren. Zo voorkomt u dat i4s u heeft afgemeld en er dus reeds lang geen internetverbinding meer was.
