NOOKcolor Power Button (by default) is a home screen widget that (guess what) is the SAME THING as pressing your power button. So it puts your device to sleep, powers off, or reboots, without reaching for the hardware power button.

When using sleep mode, this is not just an app that blanks the screen, which is why it requires root. It actually emulates a real press of the power button on your device to engage real sleep mode.

Seriously...it doesn't work at all if you don't have adequate root access to your device. Root access is required for any app to have real power button emulation if you are running Eclair (Android 2.1) on your NOOKcolor (stock NOOK color firmware).

This app determines the positions of your mobile from the wireless networks.

You must activate the option 'Use wireless networks' (in Location & security settings) to determin your location.

Discription:
LBS changes the ringtone mode dependend at positions. For example when you are at work it changes to vibrate only and disables the media sounds. When you come home it will restore your media volume and disables vibrate only mode.
Further this app can enable wifi on positions where you are able to connect to a hotspot and disable it otherwise. This app learns the positions by itself, you only need to activate the wifi once when you are in an unknown area.

Be careful in using this app this is a beta! This app is developed on the HTC Desire, if you have any trouble using other devices please let me know.

Permissions:
- Internet for web-updates and googlemaps
- Location
- Wifi to turn it on/off
- Auto start (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)

Now you can toggle setting without navigating out of your current application. Just shake to enable or disable one of these settings such as:
- Wifi
- Auto rotation
- Airplane mode

Toast message will be displayed on screen to show you current state after every successful shake. At least 3 seconds time interval is required between 2 successful shake.

HappyChar lets you explore, copy, and decode Unicode characters. Copy individual characters or phrases to the clipboard for use in other applications. Features include:

✘What are these boxes?!
Boxes mean the current font does not have a glyph for a given character. Some fonts have many characters defined, some have just a few. Though not all fonts assign glyphs to every character, copy and pasting boxes will transfer the correct character data. Try selecting a different font from the Options menu or loading a True-Type font from your SD card. HappyChar now provides the option to skip and not display these characters when browsing.

※ Instructions ※
☞Clicking a character will append it to the clipboard sandbox at the bottom of the screen. Copy the sandbox to the clipboard by clicking the clipboard icon.

☞Long clicking a character will launch the character inspector which shows the byte order breakdown for the character in different unicode encodings.

☞Mark favorites by clicking the happy face in the character inspector. View your favorites by pressing MENU->Favorites.

☞View phrases by pressing MENU->Phrases. Enter new phrases by pressing the green Add button at the top of the screen. Phrases can be copied, edited, or deleted by pressing the utility buttons in each list item.

☞Click the top bar in between the left and right arrows to show the section list and jump to the any section of the unicode basic multilingual plane.

☞Any True-Type font may be loaded into HappyChar. Select Font from the MENU->Options page, and select “Scan SD Card” from the list to initiate a search for True-Type fonts in the SD Card. Fonts may be placed anywhere on the sd-card. To cancel the search press the BACK button.

✘Custom fonts are not available for desktop widgets to use at this time.
✘Desktop widgets are unavailable if installed to SD Card.
