This app reads an apk file from a url and then ask you to approve the
installation (do not think it can be done automatically).
It also checks periodically if there is a new version to download.
You may be wondering what on earth this is good for!
I use it when I develop apps for IOIO (http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10748).
IOIO is a microcontroller connected to the USB port on an Android phone.
You are unable to connect IOIO with Android emulator, so I created this app to
easily upload and test new versions of my IOIO applications on my phone.
In other words, as soon as you put a new version of the apk file (new modification date) on your web server, PhoneDeployApp will triggers an installation of it on your phone.

Scott Hininger is an agricultural and horticultural educator for the Sheridan County (Wyoming) Cooperative Extension Service.  One part of his job is helping the public in Sheridan identify weeds, pests, invasive species, and the like.  If you want to get Scott’s advice about a problem on your property, you can download and install this free app, then use it to snap a picture that will get sent directly to Scott for his review and analysis.

On installation, the app will ask you for a return email address and your name and phone number, so Scott can get back to you with your answer or follow-up questions.  Then, instead of using your built-in camera app to take your photo, use this SnapTo Scott app.  Capture your picture, use the optional Notes feature to add information or ask a specific question, and hit Send to shoot an email with your photo attached off to Scott.

If you want to get in touch with Scott directly, use the Menu key to bring up the About box.  There you’ll find Scott’s phone number (which can be dialed directly from the app) and email address.

1.3.0:
* The email retrying service will now restart after the phone reboots; you won’t have to manually retry after you turn your phone off.
* To improve speed and reliability, we’ve made the EXIF-writing feature a preference that is turned off by default.  This feature allows us to correct the date/time for a few phones that don’t set it correctly.  Only if you notice date/time problems, turn this feature on and try it.  
* Users are now informed if location tracking is disabled on their phone.

* Added Retry All and Resend All buttons to the Outbox.
* Added progress dialog to be shown after Capture before Send is enabled.  Some phones take an appreciable amount of time to process the image after Capture is pressed.  This progress dialog will help the user know the app is ready for Send to be pressed.

* Changed the default subject line and the name of the photo file to reflect the sender's identity  rather than the product name.  
* Added support for 7 digit (local U.S.) phone numbers.

NotasETSIT te permite mirar tus notas provisionales de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSIT UPM) y...¡te notificará cuando salga una nota nueva!

Simplemente introduce tu usuario y contraseña en la pantalla de bienvenida y pulsa el botón acceder.

Una vez en la pantalla de las notas, si pulsas el botón de menú del teléfono, podrás actualizar las notas, cambiar de usuario, cambiar las preferencias y salir.

Para activar las notificaciones de notas, en el menú preferencias, hay que seleccionar "Servicio automático de notificación", y eliges la frecuencia que quieras. Si estás muy desesperado porque salga una nota, ponlo en 1 minuto!

Una vez iniciado el servicio de la aplicación, si en el botón de menú pulsamos "Salir", el servicio se cerrará y no recibiremos más notificaciones hasta que volvamos a abrir la aplicación.

SensorCollector is an Android 2.1-based application that allows users to collect raw sensor data from a cell phone and visualize a few of these sensors. The sensors currently supported are: Accelerometer, GPS, Temperature, Pressure, Magnetic Field, Proximity, Pressure, Light, Orientation and Gyroscope. The application allows the user to choose what he or she wishes to record but does not allow recording of sensors not found on the phone.

The sensor data is recorded at three different rates depending on the sensor and each data file is streamed to the server. The application also allows a user to visualize and stream the data in real time for the accelerometer, orientation, gyroscope and magnetic field sensors.

PET Hydrolytic Degradation Nomograph

How to use this Nomograph:
The Nomograph is interactive; simply drag the left end of the line to the starting IV of your PET resin, and set the right end of the line to your resin moisture content. Where the line crosses the middle scale represents the predicted IV of the preform.

IV Drop due to Moisture:
This Nomograph will determine the IV Drop expected from the moisture level in the starting resin. It concentrates exclusively on the hyrdolytic degradation of PET and does not take into account other sources like :

1. Oxidative Degradation
2. Thermal Degradation
3. Mechanical Degradation

As a rule, Hydrolytic Degradation accounts for the majority of IV loss in PET, and therefore knowing the loss due to moisture will be a fairly accurate measure of IV loss in extrusion. The standard specification for moisture content in PET prior to melt processing is 50 ppm (0.005%). Moisture content in the resin which is much higher than this level results in unacceptable IV loss in the finished product (preforms). PET resin which is dried to a level much lower than 50 ppm has diminished returns with respect to IV loss.
