Telecom Color Code Calculator, for copper cabling.

This calculator will help you translate any cable pair in to it’s corresponding pair color or pair number.

You can type in a cable pair number and it will display the pair color, binder color, binder group, super binder group, and the color abbreviation that this pair would be written in.

Or…

You can select a the pair color, binder color, and super binder; and the calculator will translate it into the pair number, binder number, and the abbreviated form this pair would be written in.


I  created this app to assist anyone who works with telecom copper cabling.


If you are not familiar with telecom color codes please read this brief explanation:

In the cabling industry color coding is used to identify a pair of conductors by its unique number, corresponding to the combination of tip and ring colors. Every pair is identified by a combination of 5 tip and 5 ring colors. The conductors of a pair will be close together and one will be marked a solid color and the other with small stripes of the corresponding color (blue stripes on white, white stripes on blue and so on). This way you can identify the conductors as belonging to the same pair even though they may not be closely wrapped together in the loose bundle of wires you get after stripping the outer jacket off. If a cable has more than 25 pairs you will encounter colored pair wrapping. Usually cabling vendors use two flat plastic strips, helically wrapped around each group of 25 pairs. Each strip is colored. First strip uses one of five tip colors. Second strip uses one of five ring colors. So wrap number equals to pair number with the same combination of tip and ring colored conductors. When the cable's pair count exceeds 600, bundles are grouped into super bundles. Every super bundle uses wrapping, colored with one of first three tip colors. It gives color codes for cables with up to 1800 pairs. For real big cables, having more than 1800 pairs, generally vendor-specific color coding is used.

There are some common phases used to help you remember the Tip and Ring colors, here are a few of them:

9sCam is for general phones,Tablet(doesn't need auto-focus),supporting Android 1.5,1.6,and all.

Since there's a focusing loop, it may have longer focusing looping delay between each photo.(9sCam is faster).

You can control saving photos to:

By default it is to save photos in SD.
You should change Storage to internal phone storage by: Cam>Menu>Storage (switch int / ext)

It comes with limited Photo-editing function, such as cut a part out, turn to Black&White photo.

You can share or send out the photo by email/message/share in social networks.


It takes photo by just a click on the screen(any places will do,not a special button on screen, so no need to aim at the button),
(the real Camera button is sometimes hard to press without using force. it normally will cause hand movement and affect  photo-taking...) You can cancel continuous photo-taking by MENU/stopShooting....

It's not like those taking 99photos/second.
In this app, you set the Timer 5s, 10s , 120s...

For self-photo taking, normally single shot may not have a good-looking photo, suggest that you set the number of shot to be 3 or 5, after photo taken, pick a good one (delete those no good-looking)

Trust us! Those beautiful model's beautiful photos are pick from among hundreds or even thousands of photos.

Auto-Animation-Show, Gallery>Menu>Slide (start Slide)

It comes with a Photo Viewer which can browse/delete/Slide-SHOW photos in phone internal storage and SDcard.
You can copy all photos in a directory in phones storage/SD to SDcard.

..for self-shooting, self-talking-photos,,,,,taking 10,30 photos successively....

All photos are by default saved to SD card, in the directory of "9sCam", but if SDcard is not in place, it will save photos to phone internal storage and you can use the viewer to view/copy to SD/del the photos ...

First preview screen is on,,,after Aiming.... you ONLY need to click on the screen, anywhere will do, then the 9sCam will start to work....While in between of real shooting, Screen turns to black just for energy saving.eg taking 3 photos for timer of 20s( click on screen, start ...20s...shoot....20s....shoot....20s....photo)

Pool Capacity is a simple application to calculate your pool's water capacity. Pool measurements can be entered in feet or meters. All pool shapes are supported. Results are shown in US Gallons, Imp Gallons, Cubic Meters, and Liters.


For square, rectangle, oval, and round pools enter the exact width and length. For irregular pool shapes, enter the average width and length by taking a measurement at the widest point and the narrowest point and adding those two numbers together. Then divide the result by 2 to get an average.


For pool depth, enter the depth of the shallow end and the deep end. If the pool is flat, enter the same number for the deep end and shallow end.
