SnapTo Scott Hininger (v. 1.3.1)

Scott Hininger is an agricultural and horticultural educator for the Sheridan County (Wyoming) Cooperative Extension Service.  One part of his job is helping the public in Sheridan identify weeds, pests, invasive species, and the like.  If you want to get Scott’s advice about a problem on your property, you can download and install this free app, then use it to snap a picture that will get sent directly to Scott for his review and analysis.

On installation, the app will ask you for a return email address and your name and phone number, so Scott can get back to you with your answer or follow-up questions.  Then, instead of using your built-in camera app to take your photo, use this SnapTo Scott app.  Capture your picture, use the optional Notes feature to add information or ask a specific question, and hit Send to shoot an email with your photo attached off to Scott.

If you want to get in touch with Scott directly, use the Menu key to bring up the About box.  There you’ll find Scott’s phone number (which can be dialed directly from the app) and email address.

* The email retrying service will now restart after the phone reboots; you won’t have to manually retry after you turn your phone off.
* To improve speed and reliability, we’ve made the EXIF-writing feature a preference that is turned off by default.  This feature allows us to correct the date/time for a few phones that don’t set it correctly.  Only if you notice date/time problems, turn this feature on and try it.  
* Users are now informed if location tracking is disabled on their phone.

RUP Record (v. 1.2.0)

RUP Record helps private pesticide applicators comply with the record-keeping requirements of the federal regulations on restricted-use pesticides (RUP).  Failure to comply with these regulations can result in civil penalties of $500 or more.

Your phone provides the date, time, and location information.  RUP Record remembers your name and applicator id.  All you do out in the field is fill in a simple form with the application-specific data. The resulting record, which meets the USDA requirements, is then emailed to you.  Print it out, drop it into a file folder, and you’ve complied with the regulation that the information be on file within 14 days and be kept for at least two years.

Use RUPRecord for keeping track of both spot and area applications. It remembers the names and ids of the restricted-use pesticides you’ve applied, making it even easier to record additional applications from the same container.

If you don’t have cell phone service out in the field, no problem.  The app stores the email in its own outbox, waits until you get in range of a cell phone tower, and then transmits the record.

Please note that your state may have its own record-keeping requirements that exceed those of the USDA and, if so, you are fully responsible for meeting those requirements.  We do provide a Notes field that may allow you to enter the extra data required but it is up to you to determine if the resulting record does, in fact, meet all applicable standards.

Note also that this app is only intended for use by private applicators.  It does not meet the USDA RUP record-keeping requirements for commercial applicators.  Nor is it intended to generate records that satisfy state or federal worker protection standards (WPS).

NotasETSIT te permite mirar tus notas provisionales de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSIT UPM) y...¡te notificará cuando salga una nota nueva!

Simplemente introduce tu usuario y contraseña en la pantalla de bienvenida y pulsa el botón acceder.

Una vez en la pantalla de las notas, si pulsas el botón de menú del teléfono, podrás actualizar las notas, cambiar de usuario, cambiar las preferencias y salir.

Para activar las notificaciones de notas, en el menú preferencias, hay que seleccionar "Servicio automático de notificación", y eliges la frecuencia que quieras. Si estás muy desesperado porque salga una nota, ponlo en 1 minuto!

Una vez iniciado el servicio de la aplicación, si en el botón de menú pulsamos "Salir", el servicio se cerrará y no recibiremos más notificaciones hasta que volvamos a abrir la aplicación.

Camera measure: Pie+ is a free simple and useful telemeter tool that helps you to measure ratio, the relative size of objects or to split objects into equal pieces. You can also use it to measure out parts of the whole objects or volumes and estimate parts ratio accurately.

   The application is easy and intuitive to use: point your camera at an object and use touch screen to measure. It also has built-in help menu with a short explanation how to use it.

   You can use this App in different situations. For example you can cut a pie, pizza or something else in equal parts or portions. Sometimes it is difficult to do by sight especially if you need odd number of pieces (5,7 or 9). It can be also helpful while cooking to measure out certain part of the volume, e.g. 1/3 glass, or cut something with a certain ratio.

    This App can be used in every situation where the relative measurement is important:

- you learn to draw and you want to measure exactly part ratios of an object and transfer them onto canvas or paper. The App can also help you to draw object proportions correctly.

This is the full and free version of "Where Am I? GeoCode" for Android(earlier known as "Geocoding" application for Android).
This application is enables you to find the latitude and longitude of any address you specify and view on the map!
Developed by a 13year old developer!

Way to use this Application:
Enter the address in the “Address field” for which you would like to generate the GeoCode.
Eg : Maidenhead SL6 4HN, UK (enter full address for more accurate results)
: 910 , Rockefeller Drive , Sunnyvale , CA 94087 (enter full address for more accurate results)
: Wilson Garden, Bangalore, 560027 (enter full address for more accurate results)
         The "GeoCode" button will convert the specified address to latitude and longitude. The latitude and longitude generated can be viewed at the bottom-right of your screen next to the “About” button.
         The "Set Current Location as Address” button will automatically set the Address field to your current location.
          The "Save Address" button will save the address entered in the address field to the history.
         The "Delete Address" button is used to delete any previously entered address from the history.
         The "Load Address" button is used to copy any address from the history into the address field.
         The "Map It" button is used to view the “GeoCoded address” in map or satellite view.
