Voice For Calls speaks the name of the contact who is calling you. If they have no name saved then it will speak the number. This is useful since you don't have to look at the phone screen to know who is calling. It uses Android's built in text to speech ability and starts upon each boot. You MUST reboot after installing.

An application that speaks the time when the clock is pressed. User can configure the headset button or the camera button to trigger the time to be spoken.

A few notes:

Many people have complained that the voice used in this application for telling the time sounds terrible. Android provides the voices, and the default voices are quite terrible. Fortunately you can upgrade these easily to a much better voice. I highly reccomend purchasing one of the SVox Classic voices, and configuring it to be your default voice in Android. I purchased SVOX Victoria, which is a very lovely British English speaker.

This is a civil engineering app that can be used by an engineer to determine the flow capacity of a broad crested weir. The app has input values for the weir constant, width, and height. This app would be useful for preliminary engineering analysis at times when civil engineers are in the field or in a meeting setting.

This widget tracks server status for all US and EU servers.  

A user-definable mp3 can be set to play when a down server is back up.

The user specifies how often the server status will be updated.  

Tapping on an orb will toggle the update service on and off.  

Server status is shown by either a red, green or grey orb.
