1 VPN - Connect in 1 Tap (v. 1.6.2m) Разработано doAndroids |
Connecting to VPN has never been easier.
Many people use VPN for secure remote access, remote desktop or just for unblocking web sites. The native Android support for VPN requires lots of tapping, and typing a password to connect.
With 1 VPN you can establish a VPN connection in a single tap. In addition, the Tasker/Locale plug-in feature lets you establish automatic VPN connections.
Features:
+ Multiple VPN accounts.
+ Save username/passwords
+ VPN status widget
+ 1 tap on widget for connect/disconnect
+ Automatic reconnection, when connection is lost
+ "Keep alive pings" to keep connection alive
+ Add a shortcut to start/restart a specific VPN
+ Connect automatically, using Tasker/Locale plug-in
+ Import/export your 1 VPN profiles. Handy for backup or large scale deployment of 1 VPN.
+ Supports: PPTP, L2TP, L2TP/IPSec CRT
- L2TP secrets or IPSec PSK (Pre Shared Key) are not supported. You can still use this app to save the password, but you have to connect via the Android VPN app.
If you're still not sure this app is for you, please check out the FAQ on our website (click the link below for visiting our site).
NOTE: If you have a re-branded Galaxy Phone/Tab (e.g. from Sprint) that has been updated to Android 2.3.3 or later, please do:
1. 1 VPN tap: Menu>Preferences
2. Scroll to the bottom.
3. Check "Fix for Galaxy devices"
We hope you will enjoy our app, and please don't hesitate to let us know what you think. If you have a specific problem or question, please email us. The market comments are not very suitable for support issues as we can't follow up.
As you can read in the FAQ, this app is based on Android's built-in support for VPN. Unfortunately this also means that it has the same limitations as Android. So we hope you won't blame the app for the limitations it inherits from Android, there's not much we can do about it.
This app has been verified to work on all versions of Android up to, and including, 2.3.4. There are custom ROMs that seems to have issues, however.
The 'm' in the version name stands for 'market' version. There's also a non-market version (without the m) available from our site. The two versions (i.e. 1.4m and 1.4) are identical, save for the way they are purchased and license protected.
If you need time to evaluate the app, and don't want to spend any money before doing so, then download it from our site. It gives you 48 hrs free trial, which should be plenty of time. Note that you must enable non-market apps to install it.
Features coming in version 1.7:

[2011-09-29] Jay: Useful utility, Widget should be configurable Nice app, does what it claims. In my mind the Widget is what makes it 1 click, however it appears that you can only use it for the first VPN setup. All additional widgets open the same VPN. Other than that, it's a little pricey. |
|
[2011-09-24] ngelee: Very comfortable Does exactly what it said, if the export backup could be encrypted worth 5 star. |
|
[2011-09-23] NiallM90: I use a VPN to gain internet access and the DRM in this means I cant connect to it. |
|
[2011-09-16] Spizro: Simply amazing! So awesome to use! Can you add an option for larger widget that has clickable list of servers? That would be like 5*x10! L2TP works on 2.3 DROIDX |
|
[2011-09-12] Forrest Christian: Great with Witopia I was doubtful this could be worth it but I now won't be without it. It's not necessary but it sure does speed getting to witopia's vpn. |
|
[2011-09-07] Gao Rui: Needs L2TP Support Works as advertised, but without supporting all VPN options, feels a little half assed. |
|
[2011-08-30] MT: TRY THE 48HR TRAIL FROM THEIR SITE FIRST Worth the price. Works well, saves a lot of time. 1-click widget connect is great! Needs notification icon if DCed - SGS2 |
|
[2011-08-10] Mario: Nice, but no support for L2PT PSK and always opens the Android VPN dialogue when using the widget, which is annoying. |
|
[2011-08-05] scott: Saves a lot of entry Simple...works every time. |
|
[2011-08-05] Ali: Excellent |
|
[2011-08-02] ezuk: Extremely useful, with a very responsive dev When I downloaded the app, it first failed to work on my Vibrant (running CM7, Trigger Redux). I emailed the dev and got a friendly reply within less than 15 minutes (!!!). They then walked me through installing a client for sending some debug info, and once I sent the info, resolved my issue in a single email. A fantastic app with a super-responsive dev -- the perfect combination. Highly recommended! |
|
[2011-07-29] Skyggemannen: Update: I don't know what you did, but its working again. Excellent, thanks. Sensation. |

[2011-05-29] flipdee: Breaks my native vpn and 1click vpn on 2.3.3. Samsung Galaxy S.Have to factory reset to fix. |
|
[2011-05-29] Gary: Great app, worth the price if you use VPNs a lot I have 13 VPNs that I support for my employer. This app pays for itself with the time saved by not having to enter passwords. The problems that I've had appear to be related to Android or maybe my Casio Commando. I spent a frustrating couple of hours trying to get it to connect to 3 of the VPNs, which are configured the same as the other 10. I could connect to all 13 with a PC with no problem. I finally gave up for the day. When I tried them the next day all 3 connected on the first try with no changes. |

|
[2011-05-13] smokingplatypus: Helps expedite the standard Droid VPN connection, but nothing to spectacular here. Rooted EVO w/ CM7 |
|
[2011-03-30] bbik: Wow! Works great on my nexus one, thank you! |
|
[2011-03-29] rikkus: Doesn't work, couldn't get refund. Fails to connect to VPN, widget goes mental and shows the same message over and over, phone hangs. After fighting with it and rebooting, ran out of time to get refund. Waste of money. |
