Check in Assistant is your personal assistant for your everyday Foursquare check-ins. Check in Assistant will automatically check in or remind you to check in on Foursquare when you're at one of your favorite places.  

Configure the app to check your location as often or rarely as you would like.  Conveniently turn off background updating from the home screen to save battery.

Set default distances and frequency of check-in.  

Turn off the background updating feature and you can use the Update Location option from the home screen to quickly check into your nearby favorite without the hassle of waiting and refreshing.

Check-in predictions.  Yes, using where you are and where you've been Check in Assistant will figure out where you are most likely to go next.

THE RULES

1. Go to a Bar and order a drink
2. Send a BarTag to your friends
3. Your friends have 24 hours to send a BarTag back or they owe you a drink!

WHAT IS A BARTAG?
-----------------------------
A BarTag contains a picture of you holding a drink, the name of the drink, and the name of the bar. You can include an optional personal message as well.

The receiver has 24 hours to 'Close the Tag' by sending a BarTag back to you. After closing a Tag the friend can 'Share the Round' by sharing the BarTag with someone else.

A new BarTag 'Opens a Round'. A Round 'closes' when the last player in a Round lets his/her BarTag expire or does not Share the Round.

PROOF OF LIFE

Your Proof of Life is something that identifies you in the BarTag photo. Be creative but consistent when using your Proof of Life in a BarTag. Include your favorite piece of jewelry, flare, or tattoo as a “trademark” in your BarTag.

SOCIAL DRINKING

BarTag is all about socializing and having fun! Hand your phone to a stranger and ask her to take your photo so you can BarTag your friend. It’s an instant conversation starter, and for all you single people out there, it’s probably the best pick up line you’ll use all night!

TIPS

* Be sure to include your email address AND your mobile number in your profile. This will ensure that your friends will be able to BarTag you.
* Connect your account with your Facebook account. This lets you use your Facebook photo on BarTag and you can choose to post your BarTags to your Wall.
* You can only BarTag people that are in your phone's contact list.
* If a Place or Drink is not already in the list just enter it and select it. We'll verify it and add it the the database.

Q: I keep getting a CAPTCHA error?

A: The CAPTCHA handling in the app is a known bug, to get rid of the CAPTCHA requirement you need to use a browser
and log in at http://www.blogger.com and/or http://picasaweb.google.com and/or http://www.youtube.com (depending on which google service requiring CAPTCHA)
with the same credentials that you're using in Blogger-droid app.

Q: I get a 403 or 404 error when trying to publish blog posts with pictures?

A 1: To be able to post pictures, you must activate your account @ http://picasaweb.google.com, all pictures uploaded from Blogger-droid will end up in the default album 'Drop box'.
A 2: Your Google account may be full.
A 3: Your 'Drop box' album may be full. It seems like there is a limit of 1000 pictures in a album.
A 4: Make sure there is no unwanted spaces in your username, some keyboard software have a tendency to add a space at the end.

Q: I can't publish blog posts with pictures?

A: To be able to post pictures, you must activate your account @ http://picasaweb.google.com.
