Check in Assistant is your personal assistant for your everyday Foursquare check-ins. Check in Assistant will automatically check in or remind you to check in on Foursquare when you're at one of your favorite places.

Configure the app to check your location as often or rarely as you would like.  Conveniently turn off background updating from the home screen to save battery.

Set default distances and frequency of check-in.

Turn off the background updating feature and you can use the Update Location option from the home screen to quickly check into your nearby favorite without the hassle of waiting and refreshing.

Check-in predictions.  Yes, using where you are and where you've been Check in Assistant will figure out where you are most likely to go next.

** For those running MIUI, this app hasn't been tested for compatibility but the latest version reportedly works well.  If you're seeing force closes, please update MIUI to the latest version.

Good app, but needs to improve Thanks for good app. A few suggestions. Plz add optional feature update locations at phone unlock. Also it would be great to set the min update interval less than 5 mins. Also force check ins when on mobile data, without gps on. HTC One X. Thanks!

Great App, BUT... This is a great app which does exactly what I need. At set intervals it checks where I am, and by if a 'favored' foursquare venue is near, automatically checks in in the background. Positives: -lets you set check in interval -great customization of settings for each venue -great UI Negatives: -each venue needs to be set individually, no 'master, one-click' setting -after about 70 places added to auto checkin, the app is VERY VERY SLOW

Does as advertised... This app works. I've been looking for a easy way to auto-check into places I frequent. However I wanted to control very closely where I checked in, and this app does the trick. However, I wish the interface looked a bit better (integrated more with Foursquare's icon and color scheme. it just seems a little plain to me.) I'd also love if they'd add a way to select and change multiple venue's settings all at once. And having the sliders inside the setting for the venue should be larger, its hard to control
