The project was not being updated on Android Market yet many bug fixes and enhancements had been made by the community. Thus, the TunesRemote+ project was born so the project could live on and advance in the Android Market while being maintained by a larger group of members. The code is hosted on Google Code where issues, bugs, and patches may be submitted.

Seems to be most trouble free on Android 2.2+. Prior version have reported sporadic problems.

This soft-keyboard scans and enters barcodes directly into input fields of arbitrary apps, batch scanning mode is supported. It reduces manual typing and eliminates copy and paste. A special key invokes the built-in or an external camera barcode scanner. The setup wizard makes it easy to install the app.

Scanned bar-codes are automatically entered into the current text field of the target app. English, German, French, Spanish, Swedish and Russian keyboard layouts are available, the keyboard layout is adjusted according to the system language of your Android.
