TunesRemote+ helps you remote control your DACP-compatible desktop or laptop media player from your Android device, such as MonkeyTunes for MediaMonkey, Telescope for Songbird, foo_touchremote for Foobar2000.  Use your Android devices as a two way WLAN music remote control!

TunesRemote+ helps you remote control your DACP-compatible desktop or laptop media player from your Android device, such as:

    * MonkeyTunes for MediaMonkey
    * Telescope for Songbird
    * foo_touchremote for Foobar2000.

The project was not being updated on Android Market yet many bug fixes and enhancements had been made by the community. Many Android owners had contacted the team about releasing an updated version on the market to no avail. Thus, the TunesRemote+ project was born so the project could live on and advance in the Android Market while being maintained by a larger group of members. The code is hosted on Google Code where issues, bugs, and patches may be submitted.

Often have to re-pair it with iTunes, but it works great when paired. It crashes on open after pairing with Rhythmbox on Fedora though.

Free iTunes remote. Don't pay for one when you can get this app free. Needs no computer software to work with iTunes. Doesn't waste battery. Great!

Works great, when it works App has pairing issues, esp. for some phones. Inspire 4G here. When it pairs right, it works great, except for Search, which is buggy (searches always as if in quotes, so if you're trying to find The King is Dead and search Kind Dead, no results; and often a chosen search result will play a different song on the same album.) 2 stars because pairing is unreliable, but it's a known issue, so it should get fixed.
