Keane is an English piano rock band, first established in Battle, East Sussex in 1995, taking their current name in 1997. The group is comprised of composer, bassist, and pianist Tim Rice-Oxley, lead vocalist Tom Chaplin and drummer Richard Hughes. Their original line-up included founder and guitarist Dominic Scott, who left in 2001. For their 2008 album ‘Perfect Symmetry’ and the following tour, Jesse Quin joined the band on stage to play bass. He also played a large role in recording the album itself.

They consist of Michael Angelakos (vocals, keyboards), Ian Hultquist (keyboards, guitar), Ayad Al Adhamy (synth, samples), Jeff Apruzzese (bass, keyboard) and Nate Donmoyer (drums). Passion Pit was a vocabulary word used in a class Mike took in school. It’s a slang word for a drive-in movie theatre where kids used to go to make out.

Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos has revealed that the band’s new album sounds so “beautiful” that they want to release it “when the buds start to bloom” next year.

Kasabian are an alternative rock band from Leicester, England. The band consists of Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (guitar, synths, vocals), Christopher Edwards (bass), Ian Matthews (drums) and touring guitarist Jason Mehler. The band has been compared with the likes of Primal Scream, with their similar electronica-indie rock fusion and Oasis, with whom they share their confidence, vision, swagger and rough vocal style.

It has been speculated that the name “Kasabian” is taken from the getaway driver (named Linda Kasabian) for the Tate murders committed by the Manson Family.

Iron & Wine is the stage and recording name of folk rock singer and composer Sam Beam (born July 26, 1974). He currently resides in Dripping Springs, Texas, outside Austin. He has released three studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album (a recording of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance). The name Iron & Wine is taken from a dietary supplement named “Beef Iron & Wine” that he found in a general store.

The Ramones were a punk rock band which formed in Queens, New York, United States in 1974. The band originally consisted of Joey Ramone (vocals), Johnny Ramone (guitar), Dee Dee Ramone (bass) and Tommy Ramone (drums).

The band originally formed as a 3-piece with Dee Dee on bass/vocals and Joey drumming. Soon realizing this line-up would not work, their producer, Thomas Erdelyi (aka Tommy Ramone) joined as drummer and Joey took on lead vocal duties.
