Dr. Hudani and Ocean Dental has provided this app for the convenience of his patients.  It is for patients to use to easily contact the office, request an appointment, or request emergency treatment (and include a photo of the problem area if appropriate). It has info about the dentists, a picture gallery, and other important info about the dental office. You can even refer your friends! We hope you enjoy it and it enhances the service we provide to our patients.

Using the LQ method, the B.E.D. Calculator allows you to compare up to three different fractionation schemes in one view.  Either select a structure from the drop down list with a predefined α/β ratio and endpoint or input your own custom α/β ratio.  The B.E.D. Calculator is a great tool for both the student and the practitioner for evaluating dose schemes quickly when a computer may not be nearby.
First, select the desired organ with predefined α/β ratio or input your own custom α/β ratio.  Next input a dose per fraction and then a total number of fractions.  Select the “Add Course” button and the B.E.D. is automatically displayed below.  Input up to three different dose schemes in one view and view the resulting B.E.D. instantly.  Having three different schemes available at once will allow you to compare the doses delivered for varying dose rates and decide their effectiveness.  The B.E.D. Calculator will also automatically sum all courses in one view should you wish to view a cumulative dose to a structure perhaps given dose in previous courses of therapy.
The B.E.D. Calculator will allow up to three different dose schemes on one view and will also let you add two more additional views to calculate B.E.D.’s.  The calculations do not persist.  Any data you input will be cleared once the program is stopped.  The data however will remain there for you to view as long as you do not manually close the application.  The α/β ratio can be changed from course to course within a view; however you must remember that any summations with different α/β ratios are not correct.  The summation feature only adds the resulting numbers in a column and therefore only provides a valid number when α/β ratios used for each course are the same.  An instance where this may be useful could be if a person received “X” dose of radiation to their spinal cord from previous XRT.  You could input the dose to the spinal cord delivered for the previous treatments and then input the additional dose the proposed treatment would give the spinal cord using the spinal cord α/β ratio. The summation of the proposed total dose to spinal cord could then be viewed and then compared to a published lifetime allowance to help determine if the retreatment course could be used.
Each course that is input will not be calculated until the “Add Course” button is selected.  By selecting the “Remove Course” button, the last course entered is cleared.  There is also a soft key feature that will clear all courses on the current view or all courses on all three views.  The α/β ratios and endpoints used for the organs listed are averages of published data and may not be the precise ratio you would like to use for your purposes.  Selecting the “Custom” organ feature from the list will allow you to type in your own a/b ratio to be used in the calculation.  Also, a α/β ratio of 10 for Tumor dose is the default selection as most calculations would probably be done to determine tumor dose.
The results provided by the B.E.D. Calculator should not be used as the sole determination of any treatment of a patient.  The B.E.D. Calculator should be used as a teaching tool and a comparison tool for fractionation schemes.  The user should understand the limitations of the LQ method as it relates to dose schemes and use the information provided by the B.E.D. Calculator appropriately.

• Ongoing cycle data history that allows a user to easily see the start dates of her previous cycles as well as her cycle lengths

iCycleBeads is based on a modern calendar-based family planning method. Many people confuse calendar-based family planning methods in general with the “rhythm method”. This is incorrect. On the contrary, iCycleBeads is based on a family planning method that is thoroughly researched, clearly defined, easy to use, easy to teach, and highly effective. CPC Mobile | Mobility for CNAs

The CNA App is the mumms® application designed to support CNA patient visits while using any Falcon mobile device.

The app supports Falcon’s GPS feature so that hospice administrators can compile accurate time and mileage reports on CNA work time and travel.

With the CNA App:

* The nurse creates/edits a CNA care plan for a patient.
* At the beginning of his/her work shift, each CNA logs in to the CNA App to see a list of his/her assigned patients.
* Clicking on a patient displays a custom form, based on that patient’s care plan, for the CNA to complete. This form includes:
  * Information that the assigning nurse wants to convey to the CNA, e.g., “Patient is Bedbound”.
  * Checklists of tasks that the CNA should provide, e.g., “Assist with shower, change wound dressings, nail care”.
  * Fields for patient vitals.
  * Checkbox, radio button, text, and text area questions.
  * Fields for entering any other text or additional information.
* Synchronization to the patient’s medical record in real-time, which is viewable to the patient’s IDT members and simultaneously incorporated into CPC reports.
* Accessibility via one of the devices listed for Falcon access, i.e., any WebKit enabled browser, including iPads, iPhones, Droids, or Android-based tablets.
* Information is automatically added to the patient’s medical record.
* Driving map and turn-by-turn directions from the CNA’s current location to the next visit location.
* Compliance with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), The Joint -Commission, CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program), and ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Healthcare) standards and requirements.


GPS Tracking

mumms® can now provide real-time GPS tracking information on employees as they depart to work in the community, travel, and return from work each day.

* The GPS feature displays a dashboard for administrators to see current employee locations: each employee’s name and location on a map.
* The GPS feature will improve hospice employee safety as it provides hospice administrators with the precise location of each employee, can confirm stop/idle times, report excessive driving speeds, and geo-fencing with its user-defined settings for travel boundaries supports increasing travel efficiency by all employees.
