This is an hour long meditation mp3. There are no scripts or voices in this mp3. The mp3 includes new age music, wind, and chimes embedded with isochronic tones. The isochronic tones gradually bring the meditator's brainwaves to the theta level. The isochronic tones are heard as a continuous
beating sound throughout the entire length of the mp3. Isochronic tones need to be perceived by the brain to be beneficial. Isochronic tones don't work subliminally which is why we have deliberately made the isochronic tones pronounced and obvious to hear.
Theta brainwaves (8 hz to 4 Hz) are present in deep meditation as well as in
dreaming sleep and lucid dreaming. It is the level of the subconscious mind.
Theta is also the storehouse of creative inspiration, spiritual connection,creative insight, twilight ("sleep") learning, vivid subconscious mental imagery. Theta brainwaves have been documented in advanced meditators.
Regular visits to the theta state of mind through deep meditation can reduced blood pressure, and cure addictions. Theta is also said to reset the brain's sodium potassium levels, which cuts down on mental fatigue.
Theta is conducive to profound inner peace, "mystical truths", transforming unconsciously held limiting beliefs, physical & emotional healing, purpose of life exploration, inner wisdom, faith, meditation, some psychic abilities,
& retrieving unconscious material, bursts of inspiration, reverie, high levels of awareness, vivid mental imagery. Hypnopompic & Hypnagogic states, creativity, intuition, daydreaming, fantasizing, recollection, imagery,
dreamlike, switching thoughts, drowsiness; "oneness", "knowing", repository for memories, emotions, sensations. Can lead to trance-like states.

The Deep Meditation mp3 begins with alpha frequencies, and descends into theta frequencies and stays there until the end, when it rises back up to alpha to help leave the user refreshed and awake.

This session is embedded with isochronic tones, wind and chimes, as well as 2 different new age sound tracks (one at the beginning of the session, and the other at the end).
The session begins with isochronic tone (alpha frequencies) embedded into slow tempo new age music (Effervescent Life) which plays for the first 10 minutes as the alpha frequencies descend from 12 hz to the theta level of 7
hz.

vTrack is your weight-loss Victory Tracker!

This is a nice way to log your daily exercise and weight-loss. The Graph and History functions show your progress.

I've found this to be a highly motivational tool. I want to keep exercising everyday so I can put in a new entry! I think this will be useful to others, so I'm making it freely available here.

Known Issues:
* The graph will look odd for people under 100lbs or over 280lbs, or anyone using the metric system.

* Slight layout weirdness in Gingerbread and later, but it is still functional. Looks great on Froyo (2.2) and earlier.

With Flu Correlations you can:

    * Interactively observe flu trends worldwide or in a specific region as far back as 10 years ago.
    * View web, news, blog, discussion, twitter, video, cdc web, and cdc podcasts published at the time and place of your data selection.
    * Find correlations between Flu data and world events.
    * Identify causative mechanisms and suggest locale-specific improvements in prevention and treatment strategies.

This app was developed to demonstrate two concepts.
The first is that simple, modular solutions can sometimes produce great yields (think nuclear energy). Consider also that this app can easily be altered to suit any data set, yet was published solely in the interest of Flu awareness.

The second concept is a novel one. The ever-expanding wealth of information available on the internet has yet to be parsed for correlations between media events and consumer health. Tools such as this one seek to turn medical research into an on-the-go, interactive experience that can take place anywhere, anytime, and by anyone."

Graph: Displays Flu activity levels for the given region and given date range. Place two fingers on the screen to select a date range and then double-tap to zoom in. (alternatively use the manual Date Range Button)

Country Button: Select a country from the drop-down list to graph its activity.

Region Button: Select a state / province from the drop-down list to graph its activity.

Date Range Button: Select a start date and an end date for the graph to display.

Max Range Button: Zoom out to the maximum available data for the currently selected region.

Media Buttons: Click a media icon on the bottom of the screen to open a web page displaying Flu-related media regarding the selected date range and region (if appropriate). Note that Twitter information has only been indexed from 1/1/2011 and on at the time this app was published.

Try it yourself: select a region and a date range that might correspond to a known event, narrow your date range to the time period preceding the spike, and see how quickly you can gather causative information."
