James O’Barr, the legendary creator of “The Crow”, is proud to present “Sundown”.

The story takes place in a post-Civil War America set in 1870. The dark, historically based tale is described by the artist as a “Gothic Western”. Four unforgettable characters are brought to life: Krait, Lucy, Roy and Zuzu the Horse. O’Barr states, “It’s my attempt at recreating the Western. It’s sort of a Wizard of OZ tale where the characters are on a journey for something they think they want, but end up realizing what they so much wanted turns out to be completely different.”
