Wonderful Words is a flash-card based language learning app for expanding your English vocabulary. It contains a 1000 words graded in 20 difficulty levels ranging from relatively easy words, e.g., preponderance, which are suitable for a high-school student studying for the SATs, to really difficult words, like, perhendinancer, which should prove a challenge for even the most erudite word enthusiast.

The app teaches words by flashcards. This means that you are shown a word and given time to think what it means. You are then showed the answer. If you knew it you tap success, otherwise you tap fail. The app will keep track of how well you know the different words and expose the ones you no less well to you more frequently.

You can take test at the different levels and earn star ratings based on your performance, allowing you to keep good track of your progress.

In difference to other apps of this sort, Wonderful Words grades the words in difficulty, allowing you to take a diagnostic test to make sure you start on the difficulty level that suits you. This allows you to be exposed to, for you, new, but useful words to add to your current vocabulary.

We who have developed this application love words. That's why we have taken great care in choosing our wordlist. The words are rare (some extremely so), but useful, funny and in short, simply wonderful.

The Weighted Grade Calculator is an app to calculate what grade you will have in a class after a final or assignment that is weighted in your grade.

Example Usage: You have a 90% in math and just took your final worth 25% of your grade. Just enter in what you think you got, what you have in the class, and the weight of the final, and your resulting grade will appear.

The A+ certification demonstrates competency as a computer technician. Officially, CompTIA A+ certification is a vendor neutral certification, that covers numerous technologies and operating systems from such vendors as Microsoft, Apple Inc., Novell and some of the Linux variations. The A+ certification exam was developed in 1993. There have been four versions of the A+ exam, the 1993, 2003, 2006, and 2009 objectives, which are broken down into two separate exams. The 2003 objectives contained the A+ Core Hardware Exam and the A+ Core Operating System Technologies Exam, and were retired on June 30, 2007. The 2006 objectives require that a candidate successfully pass the A+ Essentials and one elective: IT technician, remote support technician, or depot technician. The 2009 certification requires passing two exams: Essentials and Practical Application.

The A+ exam is intended for information technology professionals who have the equivalent of 500 hours of hands on experience. The exams are computer based and composed of multiple choice questions, of which there may be more than one correct answer. Over 800,000 people have earned the A+ credential worldwide, to date. Amateur radio is the licensed and private use of designated radio bands, for purposes of private recreation, non-commercial exchange of messages, experimentation, self-training, and emergency communication. Amateur radio, like other regulated radio services, operates under rules that limit the maximum power and the technical and operational characteristics of transmissions. Amateur radio stations are issued with a designated call sign to allow identification of stations. The power of amateur radio equipment is restricted, and operators must not cause interference to other authorized radio users. They may not broadcast to or communicate with the public with their equipment. They are only allowed to communicate with other licensed operators. National regulations governing amateur radio use are coordinated under international agreements since radio frequency transmissions can cross multiple national boundaries.

Amateur radio is also called ham radio in certain countries. It is a hobby and self-training. The term "amateur" is used to differentiate it from commercial and professional two-way radio services.
