Periodic Table of Elements App

With this application, one can look up information on 117 different elements.
Information which can be found includes:

* Element name in Japanese and English
* Chemical symbol
* Atomic number
* Atomic mass
* Family name
* Classification
* Period
* Electron shell configuration
* Physical state under standard atmospheric pressure.

In addition to the basic data provided by the application,
one can find more information on each element by retrieving data
from a wiki.

Also, by placing the screen in portrait mode, one can view the
periodic table of elements in color, which is categorized by each element's
classification.

* Find information on an element
* Find other elements in the same classification as the given element.
* Compare an element to another element.

One can obtain information necessary for learning chemistry without the
need to look through a textbook.

As the basic information is already included in the application, one can
look up information on buses and subways where Internet access may not
be available.

By downloading this application, one can find out more about an element
at anytime. It also will reduce the amount of time required to find
information, so it can allow efficient utilization of one's study-time.

This is a comprehensive engineering unit converter with an intuitive spinning wheel interface. Internet access is not required to use the converter.

Choose a category such as length, energy, entropy, electric charge, etc., from a list. The available units appear in two spinning wheels. Spin the wheels to select 'From Unit' and 'To Unit'. That is it. You can change the input value in the yellow field or use the swap button. Currently there are 50 categories with more than 500 units.

The flashcards are saved into lists that can either be created directly on the device or at the computer.

There are two different modes to study: either the free mode or the box mode. In the free mode, the flashcards are shown one after the other and can be turned by a finger slide. In the box mode, the flashcards are spread over five boxes. A new flashcard is put automatically in the first box. If you know the answer, the flashcard will be put in the next box or it will be thrown away, if it was in the last box. If you do not know the answer, the flashcard will be put in the first box, no matter where it was before.

It is possible to import a list of flashcards from a spreadsheet in Google Documents. In this spreadsheet, the first column (A) must contain the questions and the second column (B) the answers. The first row (1) contains the descriptions of the columns and is not used for the list.
