Engineering Unit Converter (v. 3.7) Разработано thermofluids.net |
This is a comprehensive engineering unit converter with an intuitive spinning wheel interface. Internet access is not required to use the converter.
Choose a category such as length, energy, entropy, electric charge, etc., from a list. The available units appear in two spinning wheels. Spin the wheels to select 'From Unit' and 'To Unit'. That is it. You can change the input value in the yellow field or use the swap button. Currently there are 50 categories with more than 500 units.
Please write to us with any suggestion/bug report. We will update the converter in no time. Thanks!

[2012-07-04] Lem: It works, for just about everything. It would be nice if it automatically recalculated when you enter a new number. That's about all I'm taking points off for. The interface itself is a bit of a maze, but it's about as simple as it can be when you consider the shear volume of units this app can convert, everything from the common to the unrealistically obscure. It would be more trouble than it's worth for most homework assignments, but I'm an engineer, and I approve this app. |
[2012-07-01] Andrey: Usefull and free Quite impressive for a totally free app. Has almost any unit you can imagine. No ads! |

[2012-06-19] Jay: Interface needs re-work Lots of units and full ignorance for user interface: app doesn't remember my last choice of units, doesn't automatically recalculate the values upon change of units, and requires going through a maze for a simple task of conversion. |
