Shia.no lanserer en ny applikasjon “Veien til Allah” som er et håndholdt bibliotek kombinert med bønnetider for flere byer i Norge og med mulighet for adhan alarm. Dette biblioteket inneholder tekster som omhandler blant annet; “Hva er Islam?”, “Troens røtter og grener”, “Koranen”, “Profeten”, “Ahlulbayt” og mye mer! Du kan lese Dua på arabisk, norsk eller transliterasjon mens du hører på lydfilen.

Målet med denne applikasjonen er å gjøre informasjon om islam og muslimer lett tilgjengelig. Når ikke-muslimer og muslimer får mer kunnskap om islam vil det bli enklere å leve i et samfunn basert på gjensidig respekt og toleranse. Vi ønsker å bidra til brobygging mellom det muslimske og det norske samfunnet.

Hensikten med denne applikasjonen er å utbre islams sanne budskap, og vise frem religionen som profeten Mohammed (fvmh) og hans Ahlulbayt (as) holdt fast ved. I det offentlige rom er det et voksende behov for kjennskap til islam. Vi håper applikasjonen vil være nyttig for alle og gi inspirasjon til å søke det sanne budskap om Profetens (fvmh), Koranen og Ahlulbayts (as) lære.

ABOUT GU:

Based out of Portland, Oregon, Generation Unleashed (GU) is the youth ministry name, worship band and annual youth conference of City Bible Church. Fueled by a passion to lift up and make the name of God great, the GU’s number one priority is a commitment to building God’s house and serving the church.

The GU annual conference the end of January gathers around 8000 young people 12-24yrs old each year to pursue God together. Songs written by GU have been recorded and sung by many worship artists around the globe. The heart of the band is to write songs that could be sung by local churches and youth ministries worldwide. Generation Unleashed has released six live albums to date, most recently “Saving Power”, which was recorded and filmed live at the annual“Generation Unleashed” conference. Their sound would be best described as a high energy, guitar driven blend of passionate and expressive worship.

Generation Unleashed believes worship is more than just clever words and great music but is about people having a personal encounter with the Living God. Their desire is to build the local church and help others create a culture of worship in their own lives.

Designed by 13 well-known international architects, 13 follies are intended to play an interactive role in historical urban center in Gwangju. Far from being merely nice looking public objects, they will take over certain roles of existing public programs, encouraging the public to become more interested while utilizing them as a part of their everyday life and eventually participate in the city. Obviously as if catalysts activated latent chemical processes, it would lead to revitalization of the entire city so as to regenerate the old city center. Consequently, whilst they are to be fused into the existing urban fabric, as a whole they are intended to play a crucial role in the city by providing a public field for citizens to react to. As a practical means of building follies in the city as well as easing administrative process of ensuring possible sites, the follies should be a type of hybrid between unused public spaces and indispensible services. By incorporating public space and programs, follies will play an essential role to the public as well as it enhances the whole process of exhibition.

The Gwangju Design Biennale will serve as an opportunity to recover the notion of place in the city by means of distributing 13 follies in the city and trigger the active participation from the public into their environment, which eventually helps to regenerate the old town center.
