Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary (v. 1.06)

The Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary App is designed to help students study and review the 600 most frequent words in the Hebrew Bible.   The top 600 words are divided into sets of 25 which can be mixed and matched to create a single list.  Once a list is created, students click through the words individually, reveal the English translation, and move to the next word.  If they incorrectly identify the Hebrew word, students can choose to send the word to a sub-list for further review.  

In addition to the top 600 words in the Hebrew Bible, lesson lists are available that correspond with Thomas O. Lambdin's Introduction to Biblical Hebrew textbook.

The Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary app was designed by Geri Clements, a Biblical Hebrew Instructor at Brigham Young University and a M.S. student in Instructional Psychology & Technology, as a way for her students to always have their vocabulary lists with them no matter where they go.  Waiting in lines and waiting for friends can now be leveraged into Biblical Hebrew study time!  Just think of the possibilities...

Matching Animals helps your child learn while having fun. Little ones discover the names of different animals and their unique sounds. Kids discover the peacock, owl, hedgehog and many more while matching them with their respective ‘homes’!

Your child is quietly playing and having a good time. Every now and again, he mimics the sounds that are coming from the game he’s playing; sometimes he is hissing like a snake or neighing like a horse. Your youngster is totally engrossed and enjoying himself. He has no idea that he’s learning.

The Matching Animals app is an educational game that helps little boys and girls learn the names and sounds of 20 different animals and each animal’s favorite spot on the farm.

Kids can drag each animal to their favorite spots on the farm. The duck swims in the pond; the cat lounges on the house porch and so on. Upon completing the task, children will hear the sounds of each animal and each sentence being read out, so they learn to identify them in the real world.

This is an application created by the Japanese high school students as a part of their program study.
Flag ceremonies are popular, though it is quite difficult to adjust its lift with music.
Haven't you ever reached the flag at the peak even though music is still playing, or either rushed to the peak because music is about to finish?
So we came up with the idea of "Flag Raising Practice".
This application will be a good exercise including the world's main national flags.
If you find any difficulty, touch "HELP" and get assistance.
(Some devices might cause you the inconvenience due to its slow response.)
We did our best to prepare the national anthems by ourselves on the piano.
We hope you to be receptive to our ideas and enjoy this application.
It's simple.
Slide down the rope on the right and the flag goes up.
Try to reach the flag at the peak when the music is just over.
4 intervals on the left will help you check your pace.

常見問題回覆：
聽不到聲音、級別分類、機器人語音難聽、沒唸出中文、自行設定例句要發音與否、字體大小與音標。

1.按『播放』後，頁面一直跑，聽不到聲音。解決方式：安裝TTS (text to speech) TTS 設定，

有少數低階手機使用者無法完整安裝TTS語音，請耐心等候作者完成真人語音功能，即可解決此問題，未來也不需要安裝TTS語音。

在 設定 -> 語音輸入與輸出裝置 -> 文字轉語音設定 -> 引擎 引擎可使用『eSpeak TTS』或『Pico TTS』。 如果您的『安裝語音資料』為淡灰色，表示沒有安裝成功，請先點選『安裝語音資料』後，會連到Android Market的『SpeechSynthesis Data...』，再安裝此App，即可完成Pico TTS的安裝。 『eSpeak TTS』安裝請至 https://market.android.com/details?id=com.marvin.espeak

2.希望能加入級別分類。 此App分初級、中級、中高級，共7000字。範例超過一萬句，目前推出初級體驗版，其它版本將陸續推出，敬請期待。

3.機器人語音很難聽。 已在撰寫與錄製『真人語音』希望能在年底前完成，請見諒。

4.沒有唸出中文。中文的發音與真人語音會一起製作，希望能趕在年底一起發佈。

5.自行設定例句要發音與否。本軟體可自行設定例句與單字拼音要發音與否，還可以設定例句與單字拼音的播放次數。

6.字體大小與音標的設定，本軟體可自行設定字體大小，是否顯示單字範例、KK音標、DJ音標。

備註：
作者發佈軟體皆經過很多的測試，但身邊的測試設備不足，無法完整測試完所有設備與不同的Android版本，還請各位朋友能體諒，並在使用的過程協助回報問題與機器設備。
