Já í símann er snjallsímaforrit sem sýnir þér hver er að hringja, áður en svarað er, þrátt fyrir að viðkomandi sé ekki skráður í tengiliðaskrá símans þíns. Forritið tengist á augabragði við gagnagrunn Já og þannig sést hver er að hringja: nafn, sími, heimilisfang og starfsheiti sé það skráð.

Nauðsynlegt er að 3G eða þráðlaust net sé til staðar til þess að Já í símann virki þegar tekið er við símtalinu, oftast má sjá 3G tákn á skjánum á símtækinu. Ef 3G eða þráðlaust samband næst ekki er númerinu flett upp eftir að símtali líkur.
Notendur með gömul símakort (SIM) gætu þurft að fá nýtt SIM kort hjá sínu símafyrirtæki til þess að 3G netið virki sem best. Til þess að virkja Já í símann þarf að ræsa forritið og samþykkja skilmála.

Fyrsti mánuður í notkun er án endurgjalds. Þegar forritið er sótt og notað er aðeins greitt samkvæmt gjaldskrá símfyrirtækjanna, en enginn viðbótarkostnaður leggst á frá hendi Já til að notendur geti athugað virkni forritsins.
