Why should I use this app instead of the regular browser with bookmarks? Because with this app you can avoid the step of each time selecting the web pages to open and then open them one by one. Instead, all web pages are opened when the app starts and you can switch between the different web pages with ease. It is thus no substitute for the regular browser, but a perfect complement when you sometimes want to check out some pre-determined website in a fast manner.

When I surf on my phone, eg the subway or the bathroom I always check the same pages. After each page, I have to click on favorites and then the page I want to, or type in the address bar. But with this app, add your regular reading list, and when you read one page, click the right arrow at the top and then move to the next page on your list.

A program that gets right to the point. No menus , no confusion just enter the email of the person to wich you want to send the email and click send. Warning it still uses the default installed email client to send the email itself.

IMPORTANT: I recommend you try the A1 Pager (Lite) version to test whether A1 Pager works with your pager carrier before purchasing the professional version. Both applications use the same technology so if you can receive a page from the Lite version you will be able to receive it from the Pro version.

A1 Pager (Pro) allows you to send alphanumeric pages from your Android powered phone! The medical industry relies heavily upon the use of pagers and now you can communicate with them using this application.

It lets you send pages to the contacts already stored on your phone, send an Ad Hoc page to a phone number you enter, and keeps a history of all pages sent. If you encounter errors using A1 Pager (Pro), please contact me at contact@estmpgapp.com to report issues, bugs, or feature requests.

***A1 Pager (Pro) provides access to pager numbers already stored in your contacts, it logs your sent messages, and it has a replay button that allows you to re-send a message to a different contact. (WARNING: Using the replay button too many times in succession can be deemed as sending an excessive number of pages by the paging network. They reserve the right to suspend pages from your phone to their network if this occurs. We recommend not sending more than 10 pages in a five minute time period to avoid being suspended.)

A1 Pager supports the following major pager networks:

American Messaging
Cingular
Skytel
USA Mobility (formed from merger of Arch Wireless and Metrocall)
Cook Paging
Gabriel Wireless

A1 Pager cannot guarantee the delivery of pages being sent from mobile devices. It should not be used in an emergency where failure of delivery will cause potential harm or financial loss.

A1 Pager allows you to enter alphanumeric pages of up to 499 characters but the true limitation is based upon the number of characters the pager can receive. Numeric pages MAY work but be aware the message should be significantly shorter. This application is NOT specifically designed to transmit numeric pages.

You do not need telephony service to send pages but you must have an internet connection and be connected in order to send them using A1 Pager.
