Emergency Text Alert

It could save someone you love.  Or maybe just save you from being chewed out because you didn’t hear that important text arrive and never even checked for the little icon at the top of the screen.

Here’s how it works.  Download the app, then…

Select anyone in your contact list.

Enter the code words or phrases that will trigger an Alert, an Emergency, or will be used to disable either.

Be sure to select a code that is unlikely to occur in any text message.

If the potential caller has an Android Phone, have them download SomebodySaveMe.  Enter the matching codes in that program.  Otherwise, just let them know the codes.

When a code is detected in a Text Message, a Notification will be posted.  The Notification will repeat every two minutes.  To respond, pull down the Notification Bar and click on the Notification.  You’ll be able to click and call back the calling number.

If the caller is using SomebodySaveMe, and has a location service activated, you’ll get a map of the caller’s location.

This application can send a customizable message followed the city you are. The choice of recipient is:
- from your contacts list.
- from a list of favorite contacts (defined in settings).
- your preferred contact.

The button to send the message to your favorite contact is larger to avoid concentration efforts, and therefore easier for you.

Example:
"You're late coming back from Lille and your wife is getting impatient.
You want to prevent her:

SPI is an SMS application that complements the one provided in Android. SPI allows secure sending and receiving SMS to selected contacts. The data is encrypted and stored in the memory card, making it impossible to read, even with a computer.

SPI includes a secret inbox and outbox , only accessible by the user via a password of his choice. The receiving messages notification text is composed by the user. He can also decide not to be notified at all, making reception of SMS totally invisible for the selected contacts. This fantastic function keeps you relax even when the phone falls into the wrong hands (some top athletes would have paid a fortune to use SPI ...).

The user can continue using his normal SMS Android application for sending messages to contacts stored in SPI. Only the sending/receiving SMS treated in SPI remain secret and invisible.
