Die Wohnungstür öffnete sich. Howards Kopf erschien. Erstaunt blickte er sie an. »Linda!«
»Hallo, Howard. Störe ich dich?«

Sie bedankte sich leise und ging an ihm vorbei.
Noch während er die Tür schloss, fragte er: »Ist was passiert?«
Linda zog die dicke Jacke, den Schal und die Stiefel aus. »Nein, nicht direkt. Ich… brauche deine Hilfe.« Sie ging ins Wohnzimmer, setzte sich auf die Couch. Ihre Hände schob sie unter ihre Oberschenkel.
Howard war ihr gefolgt. »Aha. Möchtest du einen Kaffee?«

Er verschwand in der Küche und hantierte mit Bechern herum. Der Kaffeeautomat brühte ruck zuck zwei Kaffees. Als Howard ihr den Becher reichte, war schon Milch drin.
»Danke.«
»Also?« Howard ließ sich in einen Sessel sinken, führte seinen Becher zum Mund, nahm einen vorsichtigen Schluck und fragte: »Wobei soll ich dir helfen?«
Schnell führte auch Linda ihren Kaffee zu den Lippen und nahm einen Schluck. »Es ist etwas prekär«, sagte sie langsam.
»Soll ich etwa Elliott für dich umbringen?« Er lachte über seinen eigenen Witz.
»Nein, es hat nur indirekt mit ihm zu tun. Eher mit dir und mir.«
Howard wurde hellhörig. »Mir mir und dir? Was meinst du?«
»Schlaf mit mir!«
Howard klappte der Mund auf. Er war sprachlos. »WAS?«, stieß er schließlich hervor.
»Ich weiß, es ist eine sehr große Bitte. Aber ich möchte einfach mit dem Wissen, was beim Sex passiert, zu Elliott zurückkehren. Wenn wir dann miteinander schlafen, dann weiß ich wenigstens, worauf es ankommt.«

Howard stellte seinen Kaffeebecher weg und schüttelte vehement den Kopf. »Das kommt überhaupt nicht in Frage!!!«
»Bitte.«
»NEIN, Linda!« Er sprang auf. Eine Weile blickte er sie an, als hätte sie den Verstand verloren. Dann lief er wie ein Panther im Zimmer auf und ab.
»Es soll ja auch keine große Sache werden«, versuchte Linda es. »Es soll nur ein…... eine Art Erfahrung oder Gebrauchsanweisung werden.«
»Gebrauchsanweisung?!« Er starrte sie an.
Linda senkte den Kopf. »Tut mir leid. Ist wohl doch ein bisschen viel verlangt, oder?!«
»Ja, weiß Gott, das ist es!« Er schüttelte den Kopf, dann sagte er etwas ruhiger. »Linda, man kann doch nur mit jemandem Sex haben, den man auch liebt. Ansonsten ist es Prostitution.«
»Aber ich liebe dich doch.«
Stille.
Lindas Herz begann wild zu schlagen. Was hatte sie da gesagt?
Howard blickte sie wie erstarrt an.
»Ich meine…...«, versuchte Linda die Sache ins rechte Licht zu rücken. »Wir ... sind ... schon so lange befreundet und kennen uns so gut .... Natürlich mag ich dich, und ich hab dich lieb als besten Freund. Verstehst du, was ich meine?«
Langsam nickte er. »Ja, verstehe.« Mit einem Seufzer ließ er sich in einen Sessel fallen. Dann schüttelte er den Kopf. »Es ist trotzdem nicht umzusetzen, was du dir vorstellst.«

仏和辞典は項目数7万。高頻度語を中心に、類書中最大の16,000項目にカナ発音が付されています。
和仏辞典は、項目数2万3千。情報科学、バイオテクノロジー、環境関連分野など、日々増殖するカタカナ語も収録。

■「超辞典」の特徴

冊子であれ電子辞典であれ、見出し語で辞書を引くことが「常識」です。たとえば、"fermer boutique"という語の意味を知るには、fermerを引いて、辞書を読む必要があります。“fermer boutique"は他動詞の4項目に記述があります。冊子の辞書ならここまで読まなければ、意味を知ることができません。電子辞典の場合は、fermerの本文を検索すればいいのでしょうが「fermerを引いて、さらに本文でboutiqueを検索する」という手順を踏まなければなりません。

もっと効率的に、初心者でも簡単に辞書が引けないものでしょうか?この問題を解決したのが特許申請中の「超検索」機能です。

超辞典の「超検索」は辞書全体からデータを検索します。"fermer boutique"と入力すれば、それぞれの単語だけでなく、例文や訳文から複数の語が一致する箇所まで検索し、一覧表示します。本文をじっくり読まなくてもそれぞれの単語だけでなく、成句や表現まで一目瞭然です。

・活用形が含まれていても、原形に直して辞書を引きます。(例:eussent ⇒ avoir)
・入力された語と一致する見出しがなかったときは、つづりの似た語を検索します。
・仏語と日本語で検索(対象を絞り込み)することもできます。

このように「超検索」は、単語をより深く辞書検索する機能と、文章をまとめて辞書引きする2つの機能に加え、任意のキーワードでも辞書を検索できる、いままでにない強力な電子辞典です。すべての辞典において超検索機能が利用できます。

履歴やお気に入り機能も搭載。

もちろん、見出し語による検索もできます。(完全一致・前方一致・後方一致・全文検索)

・初回起動時に辞書のダウンロードを行います。５分～１０分ほどお待ちください。
・同じ言語のアプリケーションがある場合、どのアプリケーションでも検索を行う事が可能です。
・機種によって正常に表示できない文字があります。
・SDカードに辞書が保存されます。
・辞書ファイルのサイズが大きい為、3G回線はダウンロードに時間がかかる場合がございます。Wi-Fi環境でのダウンロードを推奨します。
