One Thousand and One Nights (Arabic: كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة‎ Kitāb alf laylat wa-laylah) is a collection of Middle Eastern and South Asian stories and folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. It is often known in English as the Arabian Nights, from the first English language edition (1706), which rendered the title as The Arabian Nights' Entertainment.

Some of the stories of The Nights, particularly "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp", "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor", while almost certainly genuine Middle-Eastern folk tales, were not part of The Nights in Arabic versions, but were interpolated into the collection by Antoine Galland and other European translators.

It is also notable that the innovative and rich poetry and poetic speeches, chants, songs, lamentations, hymns, beseeching, praising, pleading, riddles and annotations provided by Scheherazade or her story characters are unique to the Arabic version of the book. Some are as short as one line, while others go for tens of lines.

This app is the mobile version of a desktop program called "BibleQuote", which is known among Windows users. This Android app will eventually support all Bible translations and books which were developed as modules for the desktop BibleQuote. Almost all modules can be used right now. At the moment some modules with special fonts are not supported yet. Images included in modules are also not supported yet. We also have plans to add Bible cross references, dictionaries and Strongs lexicon support. We also plan to support user notes.

We already support bookmarks and social network sharing (if your Android device have apps Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and alike). You can share one verse from the scripture using built-in Android sharing mechanism. You can share online or send SMS or email to your friends.

The app supports searching within modules, where you can limit search range and other options.

All mentioned features are available to you even when your Android device is offline, not connected to the Internet.

First run

After installation you need to start the application once, for it to initialize its storage folders. The storage then will have a folder called BibleQuote, and a subfolder modules. Please copy modules (Bibles and books) from desktop BibleQuote to this folder. If you don't have modules, you can download them from one of this websites:

You can download them directly from your Android device or from your PC and then copy modules over to your device using USB. It doesn't matter how many levels of folders can be inside biblequote/modules. You can create your own structure to pur modules with Bible translations and books separately from each other. You can also create folders for Theology, Fiction and other types. The limits are up to Android itself.

Q: How can I change the speed of the voice?
A: The speed of the speech is controlled by the TTS engine installed with Android. It can be set up by going to:
Settings --> Voice input & output settings --> Text to speech settings --> speech rate

Q: I don't like the voice. How can I improve it?
A: The default text-to-speech engine installed with Android is Pico TTS, it’s pretty simple and sometimes may sound a bit electronic. Q: How can I change the speech language?
A: Just go to Menu --> Settings and select the language. 2 languages are available:
  * Spanish
  * French

На данный момент я работаю над новой версией,но т.к. движок сильно изменился выпущу как новое приложение,скорее всего и это обновлю но без поиска и прочих вещей.

Я читаю все комментарии, на данный момент у меня нет возможности обновить программу, как только появится возможность обновлю.
