[2012-09-21] jik: Lots of errors in ashkenaz davening Lots of issues on S3 with שחרית בנוסך אשקנז, including: Hebrew typesetting is poor; many vowels in the wrong place; יהי רצון paragraph at the end of רבי ישמאל is missing; phrase ברוך חי לעד וקים לנצח is missing in ברוך שאמר; "יעזוב את הציציות" and "ינשק הציצית" instructions in אמת ויציב are wrong font size; In עמידה: starts with כי שם ה' אקרא, which isn't said at שחרית; siddur today has ותן טל ומטר though it's not time to start saying it yet; השיבה שופטינו has extra word מהרה; extra pharse לעולם כי טוב appears in וכל החיים; several שם שלום wording errors for this נוסך; response to ברכת הגומל is formatted wrong; Torah service is missing גדלו לה; תחנון is not right; I noticed on a previous day that שר של יום was before לדויד, but I don't see that today; and order of prayers at end of שחרית is wrong in other ways. I suspect there are other errors as well that I either didn't notice or forgot to write down. There are way too many errors to be able to rely on this app for davening. |
