Twelve runners. Two vans. Two hundred miles of scorching California pavement. This app will get you through it in one piece.
Designed for the Ragnar So Cal relay race on April 15-16 2011, this tool makes it easy to organize multiple vans and calculate runner statistics. Just enter the runners' paces and off you go! You'll have everything you need at your fingertips:
* Running time
* Projected leg time remaining
* Running distance
* Elevation changes
* Actual running pace
* Course map with current GPS position
* View stats as per leg or per runner
Easily sync up multiple devices by simply entering the cell phone numbers of the other devices. What's that? Grandma wants to get updates too but doesn't have the app? Well stick her cell number in there too and she'll receive text message updates at each exchange.
Ditch the clipboard and pencil! Let Relay do the thinking so you can do the running.

[2011-04-20] kristen: really useful! A must have when running the race GREAT app! helpful to know when other van is completing their legs, Rec's for improving- Add view with only last leg start, time elapsed and estimated remaining time in bigger font (it's too small now), when I opened Link Devices it would show up blank even if I already put #s in, I would have to exit out once and re-enter for it to work, utilize contacts for #s, ability to remove exchanges completed (I messed up and couldn't remove), if runners have phones on them link GPS tracking(that'd be cool) THANKS! |
