Race Monitor gives racers and spectators alike, the ability to view live timing data from MyLaps timing system's via the RMonitor protocol.
With Race Monitor, you can view racer lap times as they occur, group racers by category (if multiple classes are racing at the same time), and sort by race position or qualifying position.
** Race Monitor requires that you are able to connect to the RMonitor server provided by the track, either via the track's wireless network, or the internet if the track makes timing available over the internet. **

[2012-05-14] Steven: $5 i paid.read accept and download Hey race monitor, why is it that your app is always running. I use app killer or force it off and its running again in an hour or less. Not a free app. Installed over a year ago. Read accept and download permissions before you buy. They are asking for alot of stuff they dont need. THIS IS NOT A FREE APP SO WHY ARE YOU ADDING BILLING PERMISSION RACE MONITOR. RUNS ALL THE TIME TOO. |

[2012-05-08] C: Still needs a few bugs worked out The app worked fairly well at our first event, but at Laguna Seca it kept saying waiting for data...connection lost. However, I was able to get data from other events such as Miller Motorsports and Portland. When it works it's great. It allows me to see other competitors times immediately. I have an android phone so I only get the last lap and best lap during qualifying. It would be great to to see data for all laps completed as on iphone. |
