Current version:
GolfScoreBasic is a golf scorecard.
Good for disc golf and ball golf.
Landscape-only orientation, just like a paper scorecard.
NO set-up required.... start the app. and enter scores immediately.
Extra information can be entered at your leisure, or not at all.
Minimum A.P.I. : Android 1.6
Target testing device: Droid 2 Global and emulators

Features:

White and grey-ish color scheme visible in direct/strong sunlight.
Scorecard can display up to 5 player names,and scores for up to 63 holes of golf.
Player names and scores can be edited at any time.
Touch score blank to enter/edit score.
Score totals for current page (nine holes) are displayed in the farthest right column.
"Clear Page" option clears only the current page's scores.
No permissions required
No contact list read/writes
No Full Internet Access
No Location Services.
No Advertising.
No Spyware
No selling your personal data

Cons:
Multiple screen support is not perfect. Score total column may be clipped on small screens.
Player names may be shortened in some situationsscreen sizes.

[2013-01-09] A Google User: Screen too small to see totals - but good effort After a year of having the app and not golfing, we finally teed off over Christmas. While it was very easy to enter names & scores, the totals were cut off my SG1 screen. So, we had to manually add up the scores at the end of the day. If there was an export function, we could have emailed it and inserted the data into a spreadsheet too. But, as my scores are nothing special, I don't really want to dwell on how bad I played on the day! |
