Um die mittlerweile recht umfangreichen Onlinesysteme des VVSA (Volleyball-Verband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.) besser aus der Hosentasche verwalten zu können, entwickelte ich für den Eigenbedarf eine kleine Android App.

Irgendwann erzählte ich dem VVSA davon und sie waren davon ganz begeistert und es kam die Idee auf, die App doch allen Volleyballern zur Verfügung zu stellen. OK, ich möbelte die App auf und seit Ende 2011 steht sie nun im Google Play Store.

Man darf jetzt keine Wunderdinge von dem kleinen Programm erwarten, es greift im Prinzip effektiv auf die Inhalte der VVSA-Webseite und der Onlinesysteme zu.


Die VVSA Volleyball Online App bietet folgende Inhalte:

- Aktuelles aus dem VVSA
- Aktuelle Hallenergebnisse vom Wochenende
- Übersicht über den Hallenspielbetrieb (Ansetzungen, Ergebnisse, Tabellen)
- Login und Ergebniseintragungen für Mannschaftsverantwortliche und Staffelleiter in das Hallen-Online-System
- Login und Ergebniseintragung für Spieler und Ausrichter in das Beach-Online-System
- Übersicht und Anmeldung zu allen VVSA-Beachturnieren
- Ergebnisse zu allen VVSA-Beachturnieren
- Teilnehmer- / Setzlisten zu allen VVSA-Beachturnieren
- Beach-Ranglisten für alle Kategorien und Geschlechter


Um die Entwicklungsarbeit ein wenig zu amortisieren, wird auf den Onlineseiten für 30 Sekunden ein Werbebanner angezeigt. Vielleicht ist für den ein oder anderen ja sogar ein interessantes Angebot dabei. Anregungen und Hinweise könnt ihr mir jederzeit schicken. Die Wünsche sollten sich aber im Rahmen halten. Viel Spaß mit dem VVSA in der Hosentasche!

Fantasy Golf but You're the Pro!

The app for golfers that lets its users compete against other golfers regardless of skill level or location. No handicap required. Post your scores and the course you played directly to facebook. Bragging rights not included.

Splashie provides the platform for golfers to compete against other golfers of the same skill level, regardless of location, by playing a real round on an 18-hole golf course of their choosing. After inputting results into our system, we determine their SPLASHIE SCORE based on a variety of factors including performance and course difficulty. It's like a QB rating for golfers.

The intuitive and easy-to-use interface of the app makes it easy to track your statistics, history, and scoring, as well as review the national leaderboard.

Splashie provides an even playing field. Since only 20% of golfers have a handicap, Splashie doesn't require handicaps to compete. Instead, tournament participants are placed into "flights" based on Splashie's proprietary rating system which ensures members always compete against players of the same caliber.

It's easy to use:

1. Play Golf: Play on any 18-hole golf course in the United States. No handicap required.

Swiss-system tournament is a common type of tournament in which players or teams are paired to face each other for several rounds of competition. Applications are Chess, Bridge, Badminton, Warmachine, Magic: The Gathering, Scrabble and other tournaments with too many players to play in round-robin style.

This App allows a handy management of swiss-system tournaments. Its features are:
- unlimited number of tournaments
- unlimited number of players
- automatically pairings in swiss-style, according to their cumulative scores
- automatically add byes
- adding players from contacts
- player register to select players from
- different tie-breakers (e.g. control points)
- share tournament results (e.g. per e-mail)
