Duck Hunter's Journal is the electronic version of just that, a journal. But, we added a few new features for you. We have striven to maintain the look and feel of a classic leather binder, while providing you with the power and utility of modern technology. To mention some, the app has features to track you real time during your hunting trip, store your kills in a secure database for you to view whenever you want and cross referencing taste with the location of your kill.
We have made sure of the following:
1. That classic feel of maintaining a diary.
2. Our app uses the very least of your battery, using GPS only when you choose to, and only in a judicial manner.
3. Your kills data is protected by our servers and is not visible to anyone but you.
4. The app is fast on all phones powered by Android 2.2 or above.
5. The most optimal possible use of resources using cell towers, WiFi hotspots and GPS location services interchangeably.
6. Cross reference of taste and location enabling you to hunt good-tasting ducks at your favorite locations.
In future versions, we plan to:
1. include the feature of adding photos and videos, giving you bragging rights.
2. include an option in the Track Me feature to store your hunting tracks, enabling efficient hunting.
3. provide you with the ability to share specific kills, with your permission ofcourse.
