Simple yet addictive, Turrets is a turret defense game for Android.

Defend against the invading enemies by building and upgrading turrets to keep them at bay. Damage, stun and poison the enemies using the different turret types available, to get through as many phases as possible to gain a place on the online highscore tables.

This free version of the game is ad supported. Get the full version to remove the ads.

If the game runs slowly on your device, try turning off the 'Draw Explosions', 'Draw Rocket Trail' and 'Music' options in the options menu. This can make the game run quite a bit smoother.

If you find any bugs in the game, please let us know (at studio.charcol@gmail.com), and we will try and sort out the problem as quickly as possible.

If the application force closes, press the report button! The reports can help us work out where the issues are within the app, so we can release a fix as quickly as possible.

NOTE: if you are have just updated the game, and it won't start up, try clearing the app's data in the android settings menu, and if that doesn't work, try reinstalling.

How do you link turrets?
You can link laser turrets by pressing and holding on the turret until your phone vibrates, then dragging the link to another turret.

The Nigahiga soundboard is an **UNOFFICIAL** sound board with 7 different phrases from the famous youtube Nigahiga, including the famous "TEEHEE!" When your in a situation where there is silence and no one is talking, all you have to do is pull out your phone, click the app, press a picture, and TEEHEE! A sound will play, breaking the silence in a funny yet awkward way.

I'm new at programming and only 12 so please comment constructively.

Egg Hunt - an Easter treat!!  Fill your basket with fuzzy critters - bunny, pup, chick and more!!  

You need chicks and eggs to fill your basket with critters!

In the first round you follow the trail of eggs - each time you reach the end of the trail you gain a chick.    Watch the eggs appear and then touch the places where the eggs appeared in the same order as the eggs appeared.    For example: one egg appears and then disappears - touch where the egg was and it comes back and you receive a chick.  Then two eggs appear one after the other and disappear - touch where they appeared in the same order that they appeared that they first appeared and you receive another chick.   If you repeat this successfully for the whole twelve eggs you will receive 12 chicks.

Chicks add to your score and for each chick you get additional time in the next round - Egg Catch.  

In the egg catch round you put your finger on the finger print in order to move the basket and catch as many eggs as you can.

Each time you come back to the egg catch round it gets a little harder because leaves begin to fall and if a leaf hits your basket your basket is pushed toward the ground.

Get too low and you can’t catch any eggs, but if you see a finger print flashing at the top of the screen you can touch it and your basket will jump back to the top.

Collect as many eggs as you can because the eggs are added to your chicks and you can use them in the next round to fill your basket with fuzzy critters.

Swing your basket through the air catching eggs as they fall.  But don't touch the falling leaves - they will knock you down.  If you get too low, you can jump up again by touching the flashing finger.

With all our chicks and all your eggs you can trade for critters to fill your basket.  Not enough eggs? You can go back to the egg hunt and add as many as you need.   If you have more than enough your final score will be higher.

A full basket and off you go to the scoring round with special effects and surprises.

Arthur's Seat is a towering volcanic mountain in the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. The app directs the users to the mountain, and gets them to partake in creation of a sonic landscape using their physical location.

Go Game Outdoors is a group of students from The University of Edinburgh with an interest in exploring the physical world through the use of mobile technology.

By developing a game layer on top of Arthur's Seat and binding a virtual concept to a player's physical location, we hope to let players enjoy their environment in new and interesting ways.
