Does not require root.

Support true multi-touch.  Can run, jump and move all at the same time.  Requires Android devices that support multi-touch.

All other SNES emus on the market use SNES9x 1.4.3 which is significantly more efficient but sacrifices accuracy, audio quality and game compatibility.

SNES9x 1.52 port.  This will not run well on older hardware.  Works on all devices Android 2.X to Ice cream Sandwhich 4.X. This is based on SNES9xNext which is the PS3 adaptation of SNES9x.  All its features will eventually appear in the Android port.  Source links below.  This does not run as well as SNES EX but it is using a more up to date SNES9x therefore better audio and higher compatibility.

Good emulator...but some glitches present... Hi.. i just tried the app and found out that it's a pretty solid app....but it fails to show some flashing animations such as when in some games, a character respawning is shown flashing but with this app the character either disappeared or found to be shown as a dark silhouette . Fix this pls and it will be the best emulator in the market .

Impossible to play some games. It is imposible to play some games like mega man x because when you are holding y to charge up a shot and press b to jump it automatically makes it impossible to beat even the first level.

Great Emulator! This is one of the best emulators I have found. The game play is seamless and the sound is smooth with very little crackling. I would LOVE to see this made into a multi platform emulator, for everything from NES to N64. Great job!

runs well on an hackberry a10 and an 47 inch tv. simply select the screen to zoom in to adapt the display instead of stretching. i forgot it first and the games performed extremely bad,but after i selected the device to zoom in so is it one of the best i found best thing is that it can load roms from external device

The best I've found I have a chinese Android phone with very limited hardware. I play without sound on my way to/from work and it runs pretty smooth. If I want sound, I need to increase frameskip, making things a little nasty, but otherwise, works fine. For most RPG's (Final Fantasy, Chronno Trigger, Breath of Fire and the like), you are good to go, but at least at my screen, the controller does not respond that smoothly.

Multiple-touch input issues? Overall, this is great. I've been playing Chrono Trigger on it, and it works fine until I come to the part where I must hold down three buttons at once in order to proceed. I can't.

Meh emulator I'd say its more stars, but a couple things theyve got wrong: The format of their save states isnt compatible with other emulators, so I cant transfer games over to PC. also the ui could use some cosmetic work. finally the sound quality is inconsistent from game to game, besides those things its decent for a free app, but if they charged money it would be bottom of the list.

Fantastic but needs work Works great on my nexus 7 except for the fact that the buttons select and start are hidden in the button bar on my nexus 7 screen and when you try to move the start and select buttons you can't, it just clicks one of the on-screen buttons, please fix this it's a problem for me because I can't play most games which require the select and start button.

Just okay In landscape mode, the start and back buttons are concealed by the bottom menu bar. In portrait this isn't a problem, but the buttons are scattered around and you can't move them. When you go to the Configure Touch Input menu, it switches back to landscape. App also crashes a lot.

Sound crackle Contrary to what others have said I've noticed a lot of sound crackle even with sample stretching maxed out. Other than that general emulation is better. I almost forgot to mention also that the fast forward function doesn't seem to work.

tricked into unistalling, now most features wont work kept telling me there was an update, went to the market, only options were to uninstall. I did so, reinstalled, now it crashes every time I go to load a game, and I noticed under settings that game genie is unticked, and I can't retick it. Thats an unhonest trick to get you to get the paid version. I would have happily purchased the paid version if it added new features, not taken them away just to get me to pay for it. That is just dirty buisness.

Not bad. Most emulators that I've used are pretty incomparable to one another. I'm use to ZSNES, but that's for the PC. The only features that weren't here that I would've loved to have seen implemented, an actual "fast forward" .. and Game Genie support. But the GG support (as mentioned in the description) will be implemented in a future release. But the Fast Forwarding is the only reason why I don't give it five stars. It's rather solid, other than that.

Buen Emulador pero le falta para ser bueno Bueno primera vez que califico una aplicación pero siento que esta lo ame rita. El emulador es muy bueno en cuanto a emulación se refiere. es buenísimo e innovador el que tenga los botones L y R junto a los demás. así se hace mas practico para quien lo juega en pantalla. Esto es mejor que el snesoid. Lo malo es que el pad y botones son demasiado diminutos (mi equipo es el xperia mini pro. Te permite agrandar los botones pero es extremadamente complicado de lograr. poliandria ser de 3 tamaños estándar. Pequeño,Mediano y grande.. También carece (para los que tenemos teclas en nuestros equipos) como xperia mini pro o xperia pro. de asignar la tecla "Jump+Left" "Jump+Rigth" "Down+Left" y "Down+Rigth". Lo tengo por que da la opción de de jugarlo a pantalla completa real. vs el snesooid que no lo permite. Es buena alternativa pero no el mejor. Ojala saquen una nueva versión donde se mejore esta carencia. y felicitaciones al creador.

I like it, but... I like how i can plug in my usb controller. It was good for awhile, but if u get hit or something u become invisible for a few seconds & that can cause u to lose more life. Also, there has been a HUGE DELAY in sound lately. Its annoying! Fix these 2 issues & its a 5! It went from a 4 til 2 from me.

Slow! This is an okay SNES emulator, plays all my games, but it is slightly sluggish on my Galaxy Ace, and sound is bad. I can't even play F-Zero or Donkey Kong Country, it just buzzes like a hoard of angry bees, so I have to mute it. Other than this, it's good, and I'm sure it works better on faster devices.

Super I was gonna give this 4 stars as the controls can prove a little bit fiddly, but that's more down to smart phone screen limitations than the app itself. After trying out some awful DS emulators I decided to go SNES instead and took to this straight away. Free and as fluid as the original system. Super.
