Up there with the original "Choice of" Great writing. Great choices. Excellent replay value.

Railroads but amazes at the same time The plot was, for the most part, a bit linear. The downside to that is it lessened the replay value by a lot, but the writing itself is so good that while you're playing it you don't really notice. The romance could have been further developed but it was by no means shoehorned in; I mean who didn't love Black Magic? Deserves the 5 stars, along with Slammed! it is definitely one of the my favorite CoGs.

3/5 I love the idea but the diction level isn't very high and I feel that the book itself is extremely linear, to the point that it is only interactive to a small degree, and the mc is practically forced into blunder regardless of your choices.

A good story, but too linear and confining After reading the reviews, I was sold. Then, after two playthroughs of the game I realized I had done it all. Most of the time you're drug though the plot no matter what you do, and after a few shots I realized that my choices didn't matter. There are way too many "fixed points" for a choice game. SPOILERS AHEAD: You always botch the Gravitas job the same The police are never really on your side Your sidekick choice never seriously matters The Splice Group always fizzles out The people are never pleased

Smart, very smart This is is the reason I love choice of games so much, you gods of creation. Everything in it was brilliant. Best of all, I felt decisions made throughout the game had actually impacts on the options available to throughout the story. I rest your greatest apostle, COG. Fantastic and fun! When I first purchased this game, I was not expecting a 5 hour play through that drove out as many emotions as reading any book but that's what I got. A great storyline with so many different endings, so many choices to chose from, and a wild adventure that leaves you begging for more! One of my favorites :)

I never write reviews But this game was well worth the 2$ I spent on it. I have played most of the choice games and this one was by far the best. It was very thought out and had only a few grammatical errors. Though I almost chose 4stars because many of the choices it seems really change the outcome more your characters attitude towards the situation. Over all great read though.

Like other reviews suggested, I would love to see a more romantic side to future stories (I absolutely loved the interaction between my character and Black Magic.) Worth Purchasing I've had this since it was first released and I still find it amusing to read. This has to be one of the best ones ever made and I've tried nearly all of them. The plot is well written with twists and decisions that test your character. Im waiting on the sequel. Also, as stated by other users, wider selections in the romantic side to the story would be nice, maybe something to incorporate into the next installment of the heros line?

Most of the choices end up the same, the important plot event is not handled well, I can't even choose a decent response when the main character is being utterly stupid. 3/5 for effort and decent writing. Please Continue I absolutely loved this story! For a text based game, it was surprisingly emotional. I was actually invested in the characters and was genuinely sad when it was over. I do hope that the author plans to continue the series, perhaps expanding on the budding romance and the cliffhanger St the end? Terrific job. I see many replays in my future.
