What if you could live your life over again?
In this text-based interactive fiction, you choose what happens next. It's in the style of pick-a-path gamebooks, but with over a thousand multiple-choice questions, it's much longer and deeper than traditional gamebooks. Alter Ego starts at birth and ends at death, including two substantially different versions, depending on whether you choose to be male or female.
Will you grow up to be confident and happy? Will you fight with bullies, or befriend them? Will you find a date to the senior prom? Will you marry and have kids, or start your own business and become a millionaire? The choice is yours.
This game will change your life.

[2013-09-27] A Google User: Awsome game however The game needs a few bug fixes but the dev seems to have abandoned this app. Hence my rating is only 3 stars. Update: Complete lack of updates well done dev for abandoning an app full of potential. |

[2013-09-17] A Google User: Based off an older game First id like to point out tothose complaining, alter ego based off the game alter ego that was originally made for the comodore 64 computer, in the early 90s, which is probably why there are no updates, they might want to keep it like it originally was, right now it is exactly like the game i grew up playing, it takes me back to my childhood,and i hope that dont mess it up by straying from the original concept |

[2013-07-03] A Google User: Great game I played this on the computer and got horribly addicted and its one of the few games that I would pay for. Thumbs up all around! Its fun to go through and make different choices and see what happens. Some of the choices are a little ridiculous or what I would actually choose isn't an option. It's a great way to kill some time, or a day in my case lol. |
