We like to play solitaire, especially Yukon. While there are quite a few solitaire games out there, all those we tried are flawed in different ways. Some lack features, while others are, quite frankly, ugly. Many are difficult to actually play on a mobile device. We set out to build something better: simple but professional, beautiful and easy to play.

Three scoring modes and a high score board are featured, as well as full undo and redo, hints (suggested moves), and more. Yukon Gold Solitaire was carefully crafted for easy play and a great look on any display size, including tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom. Move cards by tapping or dragging. Choose large suit or classic card faces, and choose from several card back designs. Select from a number of stylish backgrounds and background colors. Optimize the layout for either left- or right-handed play.
If a tableau pile grows so deep that the cards extend off the bottom of the play area, you can scroll the display to see them all. There is more information on this in the app's help screen. The small displays of mobile devices present a challenge for card games with no really good solutions. We have found it better to be able to see and easily select all of the cards in a pile, even if it means occasionally needing to scroll the display. Display space is particularly scarce in landscape. In the settings screen you can change the card spacing to fit more cards on the screen at once. In landscape the buttons are moved to the side of the display, and the Auto card spacing mode attempts to compensate for the differences in vertical space between portrait and landscape.
